I have my GC account linked with my primary email, so it gets checked constantly.

I read this article today
What Your Business Can Learn From a Squirrel
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/what-your-business-can-learn-from-squirrel-castagna-m-a-
I think that this one is my favorite

I am pretty sure we saw a golden eagle today. I should really learn more about birds, I especially like birds of prey. But this one was very close and it seemed huge as it soared over us. Very cool! GC341D3

Found 2, hid 1 today.

Been watching a D5 uphill from here, not far, but on lumber trails like northern WI. The dirt here is slick clay when it gets wet, which means thawed frost most of the time. Good to drive on when dry or frozen, not good for Tahoes (or Volts) when wet. It has never been found. The CO is out of caching and notorious for purposely using bad but close coords to make things harder. I guess the negative reaction to this practice drove them out of caching and (in WI terms) left 100s of orphaned caches. I tried adopting one and never heard a peep from the CO. Reviewers want to archive it. I think there are a couple guys in town that would be willing to make the trip to find it. I requested a stay of execution. Hope I get a chance, it is the only T3/D5 around. GC4NBPX
Interesting situation. But only one person with a DNF so I wouldn’t rule out completely that they just missed it.

I don’t think it has a name but there has been a cow statue on top of Romy’s Nitingale (http://www.romysbanquethall.com/) since time out of mind. Looking at the address, there isn’t a geocache within three miles.
That looks like a pretty good cow. Consider it added to the list! BeccaDay- Would you be on to hide the Neillsville cache? I completely understand if it is out of your “maintenance radius”.
Yes I can. Just let me know when you’re ready. Ooh, the possibilities for cache containers!

Here’s a funny thought. You know those Magic Eye puzzles, where you look at the psychedlic image crosseyed until the numbers pop out in 3D? I used to be able to do that, but I think as my vision changed with age, I lost that talent. We were just looking at one and said….”Maybe Pooh’s Pal can help us! He knows numbers now!”
You mean like this one? GC30Z84

There is already a cache at the one in Waukesha: GC2TR23. But maybe if you talked to the CO you could create a new one?

I have a feeling that caching will pick up again after basketball season is over. It will also be lighter longer, which will also help.

Aw, I have fond childhood memories of driving to Wisconsin (from Colorado) and visiting Eau Claire, then driving to Waupaca and always driving past Chatty Bell in Neillsville. I have pictures of her in my baby book. I could probably be talked into hiding one in Neillsville, although if someone closer wanted to take it on I’d gladly defer to them.

I do enjoy this phase, even though I know it’s crazy. I know that it won’t be long before they’ll prefer time with their friends to family time. We’re already getting there somewhat. It is nice, our teenage daughter keeps begging me to go geocaching because we’ve had less time for it lately and her new best friend has been a good sport as we haul her through the woods and across half-frozen creeks. I think it’s the ever-changing BB practice that gets me. How can we plan any family time?! One of her coaches is my father-in-law, I may need to point these things out to him this weekend….

How do people with teenage children find time to go geocaching?! I feel like when I’m home from work I’m always running my kids around to sports or shopping for some formal occasion or just running them somewhere. Ugh! Plus, their basketball coaches keep changing practice times so that I never really know when we’ll have free time. It’s so irritating!

My Steinway was FREEEEEEE!!!!!! The only way we could afford one. My uncle is blind and music is his passion. When he was younger there weren’t the best services for people with disabilities and this was one of the few things he could actively take part in. So a wealthy relative bought it for him. He eventually moved into an apartment and our family ended up with it. It has real ivory keys but many of them are chipped. 🙁 I love that piano and hope we get it back in the near future.

I miss my piano! We left our Steinway back in Waukesha with a family member until we buy another house in a year or two.

Good morning! I’m finding it harder and harder to find time for caching since we moved. *sigh*
