I’ll be there, probably arriving late Friday afternoon. This year I think we are probably going to stay in a hotel but I haven’t worked out all the details. I SO wish that the Cache Bash was more dog-friendly.

Thank you to all who helped out with the pancake breakfast! Here are a few final thoughts for next time:
Do not buy OJ in cardboard containers, no good can come of this. Buy plastic.
Electric mixers are handy.
With a central location like Mirror Lake I think a lot of people came just for Saturday or tried to cache somewhere else on Sunday and did not come for the breakfast. Attendance was much lower than expected.
Possibly have the pancake breakfast a separate event? Talk to a reviewer about that.
Plastic tablecloths on all the tables make sticky syrup cleanup much easier.

OK, the next time that I volunteer to bring supplies someone please slap some sense into me! My car is so full and I’m having to leave a bunch of stuff at home that I’d like to bring. I think we’ll make it though.

I really should have bought stuff for s’mores at Sam’s while I was there. That would have been a nice way to spend the surplus money at the group fire.

Good to know. So if each site was $90, making a total of $270. So we collected $70 more than we’re paying out. Had we charged half of what we did then we would have been short. I suppose we use the surplus money to pay for things like firewood at the group site. Anything else so that it doesn’t look like we’re making a profit on this? I suppose it can also help fund the shelter rental.

I assumed that we’d put them in a cooler and let them defrost so they were ready to cook. If you’re talking about putting the excess in a freezer until West Bend, I’ll volunteer. I have plenty of free space in my freezer.

Brian, I had responded that you should get them. Since I’m in charge of getting supplies I don’t think you need anyone else to chime in. Thank you very much, I appreciate it. I’ll try and pitch it with cooking them if I can.

Aw man, I didn’t think we needed fluid from the conversation last night and I didn’t add it. I suppose I can still pick it up.
Chris, we’ll talk fruit on Friday. Also, the list said that we should have milk on there. If so, let’s also pick that up there.
