This can’t be quite right because it appears my order isn’t on there.

Not sure if the date would work for me because my weekends sure are really busy but I’d love to attend an event up there if I could. The nice thing about events is that they can be as simple or as complicated as you’d like to make them. Basically, you need to choose a venue and find out about it, whether there’s a fee to enter, restrictions on what’s brought in, if dogs are allowed, etc. You may have to pay to reserve a shelter, so look into that. Then you decide whether you want to keep it simple like a meet ‘n greet, or if you want activities, games, food, prizes, new caches hidden, etc. It’s all up to you! Just figure it out, write it on your cache page, and you should be good to go. I believe that there was something from Groundspeak about hosting an event in one of their past weekly emails, maybe you could search through their archives for that information. Good luck!

That’s great! Actually, a few of us were talking about a water cache or two for the campout. I think that would be really cool.

We did the puzzle cache at the overlook last summer and my son was thrilled with the view there!
I also agree with Noonan that Willow River sure is worth a visit as well.

Also, what if we did like the MnGCA does with the hidden medallion. Something hidden somewhere in the park.
I also like the idea of doing some sort of group kayaking thing. Think we could get a kayaking cache placed?

I really enjoyed the article, thanks for putting that out there. I did that cache in the winter too and had a similar experience with the ice stalagmites so it was extra fun to read. I like the idea of the group and believe that I liked it yesterday. 🙂
