OK, I’ll try and be there about 8:30 as well. See you all in a few days!
Oh the woes of the short geocacher!
And sadly, I teach children how to count. 😆
Barry and Val, when will you be arriving? I’d like to get the chili going at a decent time.

OK, based on this thread, we need 5 Nescoes and they will be brought by…
Jim: 1
Barry and Val: 2
Rob: 1That equals 4, do we have another to bring? If memory serves, they had some at the facility but they were gross. Renee, do you have one to bring from the parks dept.? It’s too late for me to get one from the in-laws. Anyone else?
And when will these Nescoes be arriving?

I can get there at 8:30 but will anyone else be there with the nescoes?

That’s a good question, I was wondering that myself. I’m still trying to decide if I’m going to carpool with Renee or drive seperately. I’d like to save the money on gas but I need to get there bright and early to make sure that we can get the food cooking early since I have the food. Anyone know how early we can get in?
Rod, would you be able to come early for set up? Or stay late for clean up? Anyone else?

OK, I believe that I got everything that we will need besides the ground beef and onions. I also got some sour cream, crackers and shredded cheddar cheese.

I’m in favor of 2 for 10.

Should I make up any signs regarding the merchandise before we get there?

Was feeling a little sentimental and created some puzzles from pictures from the last WGA picnic:

Ha! No, Goldie is scared of climbing. 😆 I hid on for Heavin.

Don’t worry Bassanio, my comment wasn’t directed at you. It just seems like whenever Groundspeak does something new there’s a lot of criticism.
FYI, here’s a link so that those who don’t know what I’m talking about. http://view.communication.geocaching.com/?j=ff051572776401&m=fe8f12717d63067b77&ls=fe4b1c757d63037c7d1c&l=ff5d1d7470&s=fe54157670660d75711c&jb=ffcf14&ju=feb61c727c6d0175&r=0
So yesterday I hid my Lab cache. I made a personalized/crafty thing for the recipient. I like having a reason to be creative! Then I climbed a tree and stuck it up there since the recipient’s an excellent climber, better than me for sure. Later that day I was able to go and find my cache. My friend sent me on an adventure going around the library and finding notes inside of different books. It was a blast! The last clue led me to one of his caches where he’d left me a present. It was very cool!

What’s with all the negativity? I like how Groundspeak is trying something fun and new. It adds a little fun so the game doesn’t get stale. It’s only for a month and is just for those that want to participate.

I think that real sugar for the coffee has been requested.

If someone else will brown the meat and onions, I will shop for the other ingredients. Now….do I have to buy noodles?!

When I was thinking I’d make the chili that was before I found out about our trip to Nebraska the weekend before for a wedding. If necessary I can cook up the meat, but it won’t be easy for me. Would anyone else be able to help with this? If not, I’ll do it.
