Three guys are having an argument over the worlds’ greatest invention.
The first one says, “It’s the automobile. You can drive anywhere in North America in just a few days.”
The second one says, “It’s the airplane. You can fly anywhere in the world in just a few hours.”
The third one says, “You’re both wrong. It’s the thermos bottle. It keeps cold things cold and it keeps hot things hot. How does it know?!”
(Of course, only guys would have this argument…)
I haven’t spent money for geo-coins (the ones I have won are out in the wild – I don’t collect), but I have done a few TB’s. I had one TB go missing on Martha’s Vineyard and replaced it. I’ll still send them out and just hope for the best. I think for the time being, I’m going to go for TB’s and attach them to objects of interest. Next up, Frodo Baggins for my wife…
So sorry I couldn’t be there! Dang laryngitis! Way to go Sherry and let me know next time you’re in town to see the boy!
Good work Gang! Very nice photos.
I got an Oregon 450, and I didn’t even ask for a new GPS. (Perhaps I “complained” about the Legend (in its own mind) while I was relating caching stories at dinner?)
It occurred to me that froggerz also deserves the prize, as they accompanied Mr.G and S on the entire trip. I am feverishly weighing several options…
What do you know? Mr.Greenthumb and Sunshine appear to have won my challenge. (Even though they wussed out on the now legitimately 54 40 or Bust). They did the required 20 of 23 in one day with a bonus butter burger in the mix, perhaps. Now I have to figure out the appropriate prize – right, I hadn’t really thought that part through…
TDSG,
We haven’t met, but I wanted to let you know how much I have appreciated your contributions to the WGA and my experiences as a recent (2.5 years) Wisconsin geocacher.
I just created a challenge cache and decided to base difficulty and terrain on the final according to the overall “average” (I didn’t do an actual calculation, just did some quick mental math. I did note on the page the actual D/T of the final.
Wow, I just counted and I have 75. A bunch are ones I had a hand in back in Maryland and the rest are a combination of found and liked, didn’t find, and want to find. I’ll edit it down when I get to a point where it’s too big. No harm in having a cache on the list.
Heck yes! 😮
The dynamic duo has guided me through cache hides on numerous occasions and never got cross when I couldn’t get some simple things through my thick head. (Or maybe I’m too dense to notice 😆 🙄 )Thanks guys!!
I’d be interested. I have a few numbers, but wouldn’t mind having the option of PAF when I’ve traveled a good ways and would rather not record a frown…
Holy Moly! I thought going to Canada for brunch and a cache was a big deal! 🙄
I had experiences with caches being vandalized in Maryland and the ones which were hit were NOT PMO caches. So I have made most of my caches PMO because I am superstitious about them staying available to regular cachers.
I’m afraid the actual deed is underwhelming… 🙄
