Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was, and I said, “Fried
chicken.” She said I wasn’t funny, but she couldn’t have been right,
everyone else in the class laughed. My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried
chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and
he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love
animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef.Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal’s office. I told him what
happened, and he laughed too. Then he told me not to do it again. The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal
was. I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, just like she’d
asked the other children. So I told her it was because you could make
them into fried chicken. She sent me back to the principal’s office
again. He laughed, and told me not to do it again.I don’t understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher
doesn’t like it when I am. Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what
famous person we admire most.I told her, “Colonel Sanders”.
Guess where I am now…

Does anyone know the GC number for this event? The WGA page says its registration link is not working and to register on GC.com. Several keyword searches have not led me to the page. Thanks.
Try GC29P5H
O.K. I have held off long enough on this topic. I have done hundreds of WSQ’s In many states. In my experiences about 99.9% are done in good taste. I can only remember one that I though was in poor taste. And the owner changed it quickly after a few emails from other cachers. My wife and I did a puzzle WSQ on Saturday that I think was one of the best that I have seen in a long time. It brought you to a world class sculptor. And in the same cemetery there is a second (sculptor) that is recognized world wide. For me and this team I think it would be a sad day for caching if WSQs were ever discontinued.
To see an example of a world class sculptor and a fun to do WSQ. check out…GC1DZA7… “WSQ The Recording Angel”. Thanks to Jim and Linda for carrying on the tradition of putting out great WSQs.
There was a bookmark at one time for this list. BUT I can’t find it either.
Go to GC1P8AF. It is Marc’s WSQ The Quest. Look in the past logs. And you will find the lists of other past finders. They include the cache name and GC#s. Then copy and past in to word and you will have your new list. Hope this is what you are looking for. Please put me down for one set.
WOW !! Thanks for all the kind words. It was a blast getting to this milestone.
I am happy to say that I have shared many of my 5000 finds with a lot of good cachers. Thanks to all of you guys that have walked the trails with me. It has made it a fun journey. We cached in that part of California in 2008. I will say that it is very rugged country. You really need a 4×4 for sure. And lots of water.
I to had the same problems with error messages. I ran IE with windows 7.
I down loaded the latest version of FireFox, and have no more problems.
FireFox is a great browser and really like it.Neighbors dog craped on my lawn…. 👿
Thanks to OPS for another fun outing. The chili was awesome. Good to meet up with old friends again. And also make new ones. We could not have asked for better weather for the hike. THANKS !!
Congratulations on the retirement. I know that you’ll love it. Best of luck. Looking forward to seeing both of you guys on the trail again.
