Thanks! The cow just popped up by the same seller, but the bidding quickly went beyond what I was willing to pay. Coming late to the geocaching party can get expensive in the attempt to keep up with everyone who was into it before it was cool!

That WGA coin must have had no takers when you saw it, because I think it’s  the one I just won! I’m exited! Makes up for the WGA TB tag that most likely melted in the southern CA fires back in October.

Here’s a photo of 2 I actually put into a cache in MN that wanted to be a recipe exchange. I’ve yet to hear if anyone has them & has tried them.

This is what I did with mine. I keep meaning to put it in a cache, but over 1800 miles of traveling later, and I still have it. I think I’m afraid of it going missing out of the 1st or 2nd cache.

I’ve seen a few of these pop up on eBay, going for at least $100. Knowing the history of them going “missing,” I’m always tempted to message them asking if they’re legit, but smarter voices in my head prevail. That history keeps stoppjng me from considering putting a TB on a toy car, though.

Thanks, everyone, for the welcome! Meeting a few of you, as well as others who aren’t  here or said hello yet, at events has just proven to me what a great community of cachers we have! Talking with other cachers about their hides in person has only made me that more exited to eventually join your ranks! Still going to wait til spring – see this weekend’s weather – but  the creative juices are flowing!

Hope to see some of you at the chilli event!

Hi Scooter/Kathy!

That was a great event! It was my 4th one in a month’s time, and I was just starting to remember which names goes with which faces! Not very good at that in general, though I keep trying. I found that cache with a couple of others before heading in to eat, so I was in a rare position watching much more experienced cachers find it afterwards, and telling them if they were close.

LTP was funny with that TB! She’s definitely the type of personality for it! I’m somewhat introverted, so while I’ll gladly join in on something like that, I’m not the right person to initiate it.
