I’m finally turning the corner on the poison ivy rash.
Neillsville Schools are closed due to rain. That’s a first.
I am not sure what has been more rewarding – find all of the state park WGA caches myself or watching BigJim’s journey to find them all! That is an interesting route to Rochester!
LOL!! I do what I can to entertain the masses. I had to drive straight through to Rochester on Friday, A) because of the rain, and B) because the custodian at school was mowing the lawn on Wednesday and launched a rock through the back-door window on the passenger side of Big Red. I set up an appointment in Wisconsin Rapids to have the window fixed, but their warehouse sent them the wrong window. When I told them that I was on my way to Rochester, they set me up with their store in Rochester and had a technician meet me at the Scout camp there. So now I had a schedule to follow. I did reverse the route on the way home today, and managed to check off those three state parks.Wish I had more time to find some of the other caches at Wildcat Mountain, it is a very nice park. I’ll have to get back there to explore some more. Only 9 parks to go. Next weekend I’m going to Illinois and plan to make a stop in Lake Geneva for Bigfoot Beach SP.
Fun :ftp:
Looks like fun to me
I’m going to Rochester, MN this week, via Wildcat Mountain, Perrot. and Merrick. That’s a straight line, right?
6 more done this weekend. Total is now at 35. Hoping to talk the wife into a northern trip next weekend, and I’ll be going to Rochester, MN the following week with stops at 3 state parks “along the way.”
700 pages of this useless drivel? You people need to find something to do with your time 😉
Added 7 this week to bring my count to 29. Also finished my first biome, Lake Michigan. One more cache to finish up my “home” biome, Central Sands. May be able to swing down that way later this week.
15 hour BuMp
Running up miles on Baa Baa Black Jeep, the loaner vehicle that I’m driving while Big Red is in for heart surgery. Picked up 4 a couple weeks ago, 4 more on my West Bend trip, and 5 today in South Central Wis. Brings my total to 20 with our trip to Door County scheduled for next week.
