I’ve been holding back on this, since I hosted the LCG Event last year, and wanted to give someone else an opportunity to step up. I would be willing to host again this year, same venue: Mead Wildlife Area Visitor Center. It is available for Feb. 20 or 27 and March 12. (It might be available on March 5, but I’d have to check into that date.) My preference would be for March 12. Let me know what you all think.
Look at GC1HQD1. It’s been a while since I was in that area, but I think you can get on the ice there. If not, a little further up the road.
That would be one way to go. I would park on Country Club Road and walk out from there. There are a couple places where you can access the lake from the road there.
Lager is, sir, regal.
Have a good time at the chili event today, everyone. I think I may stay home and make my own chili.
Warmest I saw today was -1. It’s down to -6 now.
Cheap :ftp:
I was going to go and look for birds, but with .25 mile visibility, I probably can’t see them, anyway.
I got an e-mail from Swamphog today. Said there was a snowy owl spotted at the Marshfield Airport. Must be waiting for a flight out to Florida.
Maybe I’ll put blue frosting on those cakes and see what happens 😉
I’ll be baking cakes tonight. I was asked to provide cakes for a banquet tomorrow, for 150 people. Shoulda said “No.”

Those are all good books Jim, I read them all.
I’ve read four of them so far, but not in any particular order. I decided to go back to the beginning of the series and read the rest of them in order of publication.
goodnight
New Years resolution – more reading books, less screen time. Logging out now to read a couple chapters of “Iron Lake” by William Kent Krueger.
I set up a trellis for the pea plants in my hydroponic garden at school over break. Today I discovered the first blossom. Looking forward to fresh peas in February.
Well that didn’t work out the way I thought it would.
I’ve been going down in cache count every year. Kind of like jar42, I have a hard time justifying driving further and further to find caches that are less and less interesting.
