Weird thing, though. When I went to log my attended log, I saw that several others had logged theirs already. Thing is, I never received any notifications. So I checked all my caches, and there have been a bunch of logs the last few weeks that I never got notified of. Checked my e-mail preferences on the GC.com account, and everything seems correct.  Any ideas?

Question of the day from one of my students; “Who is John Wayne?”

I give them a trivia question each morning to get their brains warmed up. Today’s question was; “Who was born Marion Morrison?” Choices were A) John Wayne, B) Elton John, C) Larry King, or D) Woody Allen. Only one student knew who Elton John was, until I played a YouTube video of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”), and nobody knew The Duke. Several knew that Larry King was a talk show host. What is the world coming to?

How entertaining is this. We went to a Halloween party tonight and I sat and listened while an old white guy explained Native American history, heritage, and culture to a Native American. 😆
