Iām looking forward to meeting up with some geocachers at the Lake 6 event!
I thought that I could do the 12-cache East Fork Trail before the event. I dnf’ed 5 of the 12 and spent so much time searching that it was almost 3:00 when I got back to the truck and I had to get home to get ready for Auburndale’s Music Fest tonight. I’m manning the cheese curd stand from 8:00 – midnight.
Had dinner with two of Betty’s college roommates tonight.
I should go do something.
Bill had a reaction to his vaccination. Poor dog has been stiff and sore for the past two days. Yesterday he wouldn’t even sit or lay down. He just kept walking around until he got so tired he basically collapsed. Took him back to the vet today, even though he seems better. She said to give him an aspirin. Now he’s sleeping on my feet.
:ftp:
Taking Bill to the vet today. Just updating vaccinations, but maybe making an appointment for another procedure.
Summer school this week. Why do I do this to myself?
Happy Fathers’ Day to all the dads out there.
My mom has a fox that decided to dig a den in her yard. I set up a trail cam to try to get some pictures of it.
Rain this morning, then it appeared to be clearing, but now the clouds are getting darker again and there are occasional rumbles of thunder.
I WAS going to go to the energy fair, but with this weather, I think I have to pass.
I was really looking forward to learning about the connection between James Gordon Brown and Nike Shoes.
Funny, last thing I did before logging in here was to send an e-mail to thank another cacher for a hint they gave me on a cache I DNF’d that they found.
No, it’s easy. First you prepare 1500 film canisters with pre-signed logs. Then you drive along the power trail, stopping every 0.1 miles, toss a film can out the window, then copy/paste the log; “Didn’t find cache so we replaced it.”
See facebook for a before/after comparison
