Not looking forward to this day. Yesterday morning a kindergarten student from our school was hit by a school bus and died from his injuries. We were advised by the State Patrol and school administration not to discuss the incident with our students until the investigators released the information. In fact, we were given very little information about the incident, but the rumor mills are churning, and by the time the opening bell rings I’m sure that every kid in school will have heard something about it, factual or not.
How was the barn? It was round! Left the door open for the cattle to be led in and out!
It was large, too. I’m pretty sure that the last one out shut the door.
FTP for Sunday, though it looks like it’s not going to be a sunny day.
Jim, Did you buy a cow?
I think I will visit the World’s Largest Round Barn tomorrow at noon!
I know where that is.
Hey Todd, I have never been caching in an Illinois State Park, but I grew up in northern Illinois, so I’ve been to a few. Starved Rock is very nice, as is Rock Cut. My favorite is Lowden State Park, since my grandparents and great-grandparents lived near there, and we visited frequently.
FTP for the last day of February.
FTP for a b-e-a-u-tiful Saturday morning. Get outside today before the craphas hits tomorrow.
Ideas for the WGA’s 20th Anniversary in 2022?

We had -14 this morning, with windchill around -30. Brrrrrrr!
Still waiting for word on vaccines in my area. I’m in the 1b group but they are still doing the healthcare and first responders. Maybe March?
That’s what our District Admin is telling us, that school staff (1b) will be in March. I jumped the line because I volunteer at the hospital (pet therapy). I didn’t experience serious side effects from the second dose … pretty much the same as the first: mild headache and tiredness. I had less injection site soreness with the second shot than with the first, bit others told me that they experienced the opposite.
Off to get my second dose of vaccine.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! It’s cold outside!
Page 1234, that’s pretty cool.
