I found my first one on Friday. Stopped for a cache that was about 400 feet from the road and had a tick crawling on my arm when I got back to the truck.
Thanks everyone. Gee, I walked in with a sign that said “4000”. And I did make a reference to making 18 stops before the event … the 18 caches that I needed to get to 3999. But I guess I didn’t want to take the attention away from the purpose of the event.
I got a couple logs yesterday that made my day. A family that just started caching chose my caches: “Who’s on First?” for their first find and “What’s on Second?” for their second find. I always like seeing new cachers join the game.[/code]
I see that some of you have already discovered this puzzle, but I was waiting for today to post it here. It was four years ago today that Mathman and One Paddle Short paddled their kayaks up Little Bear Creek to claim the FTF on my Ursa Minor Yildun cache. This picture was taken from OPS’s log of that find.

Here’s another from our trip to the ice caves. It would have been a much nicer picture if the crowd of people weren’t in it.http://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=2db3658f12fd
A friend of mine took this picture of a rack of canoes at Camp Tesomas. http://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=1b6d961735c7

hee hee, beat you on your own puzzle!!! of course, Sandylanders whipped my time.
Yes, Sandylanders is a jigsaw wizard, but BigJim is making some improvements.
In honor of my buddies TJS and IMNE finding “Marsh to the Philippine Islands” just a little over two years after it was last found, I dug this out from my own mission to the Philippines.
