Congrats on the 6K milestone. Ah, Beverly. I’ve been saving that one for a special occasion as well. Just have to decide when I want to play that card.

Got another one.
Nice – we will get that number down for Jim yet! 😆
I grabbed one on Wednesday, and I’m planning on picking up another tomorrow. That should bring the number down to 37.
BUT!!!!! I’d like to point out that with the exception of one, all of these caches were placed on the cache rescue list within the past 4 months (mol). I’d say that we’re doing a pretty good job of cleaning these abandoned caches up if they don’t sit more than 4 months, even in the dead of winter. So give yourselves a pat on the back, cache rescuers, and then get out and clean up a few more.
I can claim 22. Looks like I have some things to do this summer 😆

I think Deejay and Labrat have always ran the adminstrative side where if they were found the same day, the double points or revisits got the points.
I guess that I understand the rules as only the first to find the cache after the year gets the double points. I know that I have found caches after another cacher, but on the same day, but not claimed the double points. Even when I knew that the other cacher involved was not an LCG player.
Hey, thanks for inviting me to come along. 👿 I was sitting at home alone all day!
But congrats on the milestone anywayI’m not sure what f1rebirds is referring to, but then I don’t play the game to win, I play the game to help keep good caches in the game and get bad caches out of the game. I know that the idea behind a point system is to appeal to the competitive side to encourage more players to visit these caches, but I find that I get more out of the game by seeking those caches that are seldom visited.
So when it does finally get published, does the FTF get to claim lonely cache game points for a FTF on a 4-year old cache?
They forgot one question, “This will be the last survey that I take on this matter.” – Strongly Agree
Sounds like the Prez let the Cat out of the bag. Hopefully this doesn’t compromise the special covert black ops mission. Congrats Brian and Diane on 3,000 smiles.

I cant access YouTube from work – can you give me the jist?
New cache size: T.I.N.Y. Caches so small you’ll need a magnifying glass to find them.
Could I quit? Yes. Would I want to? No.
My longest hike for a single smiley was a 6-part multi GCXD5P Great cache!
Welcome, bigmike!
I’m guessing that you are referring to this statement –
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: http://wi-geocaching.com/hiding
This is required for caches hidden on DNR managed lands. I know that Madison (Dane County) and Milwaukee have their own set of rules, bit I don’t know that much about them.
As far as ground hides, there are plenty of them, they’re just really hard to get to right now with all the snow.
Leave good geotrails and markers for the rest of us. We’ll be spending Saturday night in Sturgeon Bay.
