Congrats on the milestone KFH. And what an awesome cache to choose for a milestone.
Congrats on the milestone, Jim. Happy to have been with you on at least a couple of those 1400 adventures.
OK, now it really is out

just remember we will have to lable them if they have penuts in or not.
What was that??? We have to lable them if they are nuts???? Then all will have labels!
Oh, if they have peanuts, nevermind then! 😆 😆 😆
The cakes, Dave, not the bakers 😆

Ummmm, and what is the backdoor????? Inquiring minds want to know!
I think that they’re messing with us.
Gotta remember, these is volunteers doing this work. WisKid/Team Deejay, who compiles and posts the LCG list is also a reviewer, and may even have other things to do (like a job, maybe). In the mean time, go out and look for caches that haven’t been found in 6-9 months.
All I know is that if I make a cake for this, it’s going to be a frickin’ huge one 😆

I think, like a Mardi Gras King cake, that each cake has to have a micro baked into it… 😈
Just my twisted thoughts…
Bison tube … I don’t think a film can would hold up 😆

I’ll bring it up again at the meeting tomorrow, but the thought is that the Chamber of Commerce (the name speaks for itself), wants the cachers out in the community buying the food from our local restaurants. We did have snacks, etc.. put on by the dance troupe. I can see if maybe the Chamber would allow them to sell brats or something – at least it benefits the dance team. Get back to you on it! 😀
That is perfectly understandable, that the Chamber would want us spending in their member business. Perhaps there is a non-profit that would benefit from running a food stand at the park … Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, High School organization, 4-H, etc.
You got me, RangerBoy. I clicked on your link and went “WTF?”
So a fake sprinkler head would be in violation of the guidelines, since you have to break ground to place it? I wouldn’t have a problem with that, since I’ve taken apart a few real sprinkler heads that I thought were caches 😯
Seriously? I have seen lots of caches on or under bridges. If I were to report them all I would be the most hated cacher in central WI

I would think that the decision to provide online sales would depend, in part, whether a board member is willing to take charge and volunteer a large amount of personal time in setting it up, obtaining the necessary supplies, and then organizing and mailing out the orders.
I don’t see why it has to be a board member that does this. Pat has already volunteered. I would be happy to do some of the shipping, or even meet with Pat somewhere to work on it together. Once June 2 hits, I have lots of free time until September.

Hypothetically……if one were to stumble across a published geocache, and believe it to be in some sort of violation, should that ‘one’ report such potential violation? And if so, how and to whom? Hypothetically, of course.
(“creak” goes Pandora’s box)
I have actually run into such a case … a multi-cache published as a traditional so that the CO could avoid filing a DNR notification form. I reported it to a reviewer (WisKid) and he archived the cache and asked me to remove the containers.
Not really embarrassing, but kind of funny. I was looking for a cache in a park in Stevens Point. Along the way I had to cross a footbridge over the creek. Just on the other side of the bridge, a family was having a portrait taken by a professional photographer. As I walked across the bridge, the family’s dog would not take its eyes off me. The photographer asked me if I would come and stand behind her. I did, and the dog kept his eyes trained on me the whole time. Seems that they were having a hard time getting pictures with the dog looking at the camera.
