Looks like quite a challenge. Should be good for more than one smiley 😀
I’m at 98 so far this month. Last year I had 56 caches in December, and the year before that I found 20, but I had just started caching then. I cached 18 days this month. I cached 11 days in each of the last 2 Decembers. With the opportunity to go out on Christmas day, I have filled my December calendar. I have 99 days left with 0’s.
Nice going Gang! Nice that you could all be together on a special day for a special milestone. Merry Christmas!!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas.
Thanks everyone. It was an awesome cache in a beautiful place, but there was absolutely no barbecue in it. 😆 There is about 3 inches of snow left on the north slopes of Rib Mountain (not counting the ski slopes, where there is considerably more). I’d say that this was the perfect time to do a cache like this. Not too hot, no bugs, only a little snow (I wore tennis shoes and kept my feet dry).
I seem to be having problems with mixing up caches lately. Filed a LCG report for the wrong cache yesterday, and messed this up a few days ago. Battle of Smokey Hill is GC2HPA1

Where in central WI?
That would be my question, too. I once sat next a woman from Madison on a plane, and she told me that she lived in Central Wisconsin. So please gives us more specifics.

I’ll have to take a look and see what I need to qualify. I’m working on the Wisconsin Counties Challenge, so maybe I can work on this one at the same time.
I’m in
Wildwood Park in Marshfield has a spectacular light show. Not synced to music (except one large feature in the center of the park). Cost of admission is one non-perishable food item. Last year we volunteered to collect admission, got all bundled up to stand out in the snow, and ended up in the heated building sorting and counting cans 😀
And there are 7 caches in the park 8)

I want for VG to get what he’s wishing for and for the Bears to beat the Packers.

I would send some if I knew where to send them.
Just give them to the Big Guy when he stops by your place. He comes here from your direction. He’ll get them to me.
Ummm … oh, you mean the OTHER Big Guy 😆
Maybe I should rephrase what I said before. If I am going to be in the area of an archived OPS cache, I will contact OPS and ask if they want the cache removed. If so, I will remove it for them. Didn’t mean to fire things up.
Yep, I don’t see any caches on the map either.
