LCG points or not, if I’m in the area I’ll stop and pick up any OPS caches that are still out there.
Not neccesarily illegal hunting, just illegal dumping of the carcasses. I was talking with some DNR personnel about a month ago, and they said that they find many carcasses dumped like this. Interestingly, about 20% of the carcasses still have the tags attached to the ear. Can you say stupid?
I got deer snot all over the bed of my pickup. Had to use a pressure washer to get it out. Well it might have been more blood than snot 😆
I’ve had that happen a couple times, but not consistently. The map is not loading completely, and if you click on the original maps link before it is done loading you get the Green Lake map. Try refreshing the page.
Congratulations on the milestone. Awesome view for Wisconsin 😆
I have 14. Seven are ones I’ve DNF’ed. Two are caches that I found and like to hear what other people say about them. Two are caches on my “to do list” and the other three are ones that I had something to do with the placing of, but I’m not the CO.
Yeah, I see your point. I guess I’d rather get “TFTC” than that kind of garble. The ones that get me are the “:)” and “.” logs.
Big condolences from Big Jim. Sorry to hear about your loss.
Zuma, you missed GC2680C – Turn the Page. Cool view of the city at this one.
I googled Wisconsin Cougar and all I got was a bunch of pictures of older women in tight clothes.
Me either. I’m at 10.3%

Yes,
Garmin designed the chirp technology and have the rights to it. only newer units have the capability of hearing the “chirp’ Oregons, dakotas, montanas as far as i know.
Also the GPSmap 62 and 78, and the new etrex 30 and the rhino 650 and 655t
Congratulations on the milestone. Sounds like it was a great adventure.
Congrats on 2.4K!!
Thanks for all the kind comments. I’m still having fun and hopefully I can keep up the pace to maintain 1000+ caches a year. But you guys are going to have to keep hiding them so I can keep finding them 😉
