Nice #&*@%^~ job on number 700 and on the log.
Hey, I’m catching up to you 😆 But with school starting on Wednesday I expect my caching to slow down significantly. Congratulations on number 1100.
That is scary. I was going to make a joke here, but decided that it’s not the place for levity. Terribly sorry that you had to experience this. I’m sure that I’ll be more cautious when opening containers from now on.
WOW! Did you know that if you put 10,000 caches in a straight line, 0.1 miles apart, they would stretch from Oshkosh to Sacramento? That’s a lot of smileys. Congratulations!
My nuvi 200W is recalled. I wish that they would replace the whole unit with a more up-to-date model, but they’re just going to replace the battery.
Congrats on your first milestone. Happy caching!
Congrats on 2100, TBC! Nice seeing you at the bash.
BigCongrats on 500 finds.
BigCongratulations! I hit 700 at the Bash, too.

We also now have a “Night Cache” attribute and a “Flashlight Required”.
How about someone explaining the differences between these:
Recommended at night
Night CacheIs there a difference?
Last weekend I found WRR 33 – Holy Hill View GC28V4H You could find it during the day, and it’s probably a nice view from there, but I found it at night and it was spectacular. If this cache were mine I would put a Recommended at Night attribute on this one.

Nice milestone Big Jim keep them coming. Hope you enjoyed your time at the BA$H. We met at the Rolf’s Dog Park cache for just a moment while Marie asked you about WiHibiscus
Thanks, I remember. That was my second cache of the bash. I’m still looking for a good place to put Marie’s tribute cache 😉

So what were your favorite hides so we know what you like for next year? 😀
My two favorite caches were the Frog Pond and On the Verge of Fellenz Woods. Not because they were the hardest to get to, but because of the hides themselves. If I were to go back to Friday, knowing what I know now, I would skip these two, because I could have done 8 other caches in the time these two took, but I would have missed a couple of great caches.

Sure…I head to your area for the weekend and you take off to hang out with thousands of other cachers. 😕
Hope you had a great time on your milestone day! 😀
P.S. Ask Sandlanders how profitable a trip to OshVegas can be for 777. 😉
Thanks for the good wishes everyone. And BakRdz, OshVegas is definitely in my plans for 777.
This was my first year at the Cache Bash. Due to a sudden change in her work schedule, my wife could not attend with me, so I went on my own. In 9 months of caching, I’ve only run into other cachers at a cache site twice, until this weekend. At several caches I felt “cheated” because I didn’t get a chance to actually find the cache. I realize that with that many cachers, there’s nothing that can be done about this, but it was what it was.
I really liked that the event was held over two days. I would not have been able to find all the caches I did if I hadn’t had a head start on Friday. Next year I will be there at noon, so I have even more time to cache.
Overall I thought it was a very well-run event.
I purchased a TB decal at the Bash this weekend. Just put it on the truck and activated it this afternoon. One thing to check is if it has a 0 in it, enter it as a zero, not the letter O.
