Hey! Congrats on your 2K. Looks like a great place for a milestone.

No! I meant TANKS… as in big, metal tanks. Like the ones you see in….
Oh nevermind….Yep, I have one of those, too. I look at my tank cache as a learning opportunity. I learned a lot about making hides from that one, like when and how much of a hint to give. Haven’t had anyone DNF on that one in a while 🙂

Congratulations, BakRdz. 1300 in a year is quite a feat. I set a goal of 1000 caches in my first year for myself, and I thought that was ambitious 😀

I agree, these are very nice. Glad to see that there will be Big sizes available. BigJim needs a BigShirt 😆

Congrats on the 100 FTF’s. I hope to achieve that myself some day.

Absolutely! Looks like a great place for a cache. My experience with caches on DNR land is that I get the form back with approval within 2 weeks. Some people have reported never getting it back or waiting a LONG time for it, so your DNR office may handle it differently. I’d wait 2 weeks from sending the form to publish the cache and if you don’t hear back, assume it is O.K. Looking forward to hunting your cache … it could be my first level 5 terrain cache.

The site looks cool but there are pictures of a camo’d cache that would be considered spoilers.
I agree with Traa dy Liooar. If I had gone to the trouble to make a cache hide like that I’d be disappointed to have it revealed on the internet. You might want to consider a separate page with cool containers, but not link them to certain caches.

Whoops, I have a cache with pine trees and a rock pile 😳

So anyway, my least favorite caches are puzzles. I don’t mind the kind where you find clues in the field and plug them into the coords. It’s the ones where the cache page has some gibberish on it that you’re supposed to make sense of. I generally pass by the question mark caches.

pedestrian/bicycle bridges, not car bridges…
Duh! Don’t know why my mind went straight to car bridges, I have found several troll caches under pedestrian bridges.

It looks like we can maybe get out and mow now.
I got the mowing done this afternoon and only got sprinkled on a little bit. I got a whole afternoon of caching in yesterday. I have the whole day tomorrow set aside for caching, but I’ll see what the weather looks like in the morning before I set out. If it’s bad I have a lot of computer work I can do.

Thanks everyone. Now if the weather will cooperate maybe I can start working on the next milestone.
