I promise not to tell, even if I knew. I hate puzzles, except sudoku. When I see that blue question mark, I just move on to the next one. I was thinking of doing a numbers run over in Appleton, so I brought up the map … maybe I’ll go somewhere else 😯

Depending on how people learn about geocaching and how much exposure they have before hunting caches what can happen can vary and nothing is too foolish. I learned about it on my own so I’m just glad I did my homework so I didn’t look foolish when I started 😳
I learned on my own too. Aside from a few rookie mistakes, like hiding a cache too close to a railroad track and under a bridge, I think I figured it out pretty well.

I’m amazed at the number of people who do not put a cache back where they found it.
You mean you’re supposed to put them back? I’ve been keeping all the ones I find 😆 Just kidding, no need to send out thugs with lead pipes. I’ve had a little trouble with one of my caches: GC26ZHN. Where I placed the cache, it is actually plainly visible, if you know what you’re looking for. By moving it 2-3 inches the view of it is totally obscured. I’ve had several people DNF on it, including veteran cachers, because the last finder didn’t replace it the same way they found it. I didn’t intend for it to be elusive, I intended for it to be quite findable.

So, who’s going to the picnic that can pick up a set for me? I’ll be “Up Nort” that weekend doing Boy Scout stuff.

That’s what I did for our vehicle. I used yellow vinyl and made it about 2 1/2 times bigger than the ones you can buy online. Cutting it out was a pain, but it shows up really well.
Yes it does. You can even make out the tracking number while driving behind you down Bridge Street.

I got a catalog from Sportsman’s Guide the other day, and they are selling ammo cans full of ammo. I looked at it and thought, what would I do with all that ammo?

Well there are no caches within a mile of my home.
There are 11 within 5 miles, of which I have not found 1 (because it is not there)
There are 31 within 10 miles, still just that one I haven’t found. All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
I love winter caching. No ticks, no skeeters, no poison ivy, no nettles, no need for boats. I just started in November, didn’t really get rolling until January. One of my first caches was an island hide that I walked across the frozen lake to get to.
