FTP for Tuesday.
Is anyone else surprised that the GeoTour event in Kentucky next month is still a “go?” looks like a fun one, but there are already 250 “will attends.” I realize that the theory is that transmission risks are lower in outdoor spaces, but that many people from all over gathered together in one? No thanks. Our risk factor visuals for our county mention large gatherings….doesn’t matter where, but lots of people gathered in one area.
I’m surprised, but then I’m surprised at the numbers of people I see in stores with no masks and the images I see of people attending rallies and protests with no social distancing. My 82-year-old mother lives in an assisted living facility, and their current policy allows only one designated visitor per resident. I’m that designated visitor, so I’m taking as much precaution as possible.
FTP for Monday. Enjoy the sunshine.
I drove up to Governor Thompson State Park yesterday because one of the caches that I have there received 3 DNFs in a row. Got to GZ and it was sitting right there. It’s a regular lock’n’lock sitting on the ground next to a fallen log, barely covered by a piece of birch bark. I don’t know how anyone could not find it. Well anyway, it was a nice day for a drive, and we found a few other caches. Also visited a waterfall in the area, which was nice.
Looking like a nice day. Trying to decide if I should stay home and work in the yard and garden or go caching.
I was clearing brush in my pine plantation this morning, when I was attacked by bees. I was stung 4 or 5 times before I realized what was happening and got away from the area. Must be a hive near by. Good thing I’m not allergic to bee stings.
FTP for Monday! Sounds like rain for this afternoon. I’ll have to get my outdoor chores done this morning.
I was just about to go cut some brush in my pine plantation, when my son came over and asked to borrow my brush saw. So I let him take it, thinking that I could just pivot and work on cutting some of the dead trees. Only problem is that the brush saw and the chain saw both use the same gas mixture, and he took the gas with him, too.
Thanks for all your hard work getting the website back up and running.
Too hot for drivel.
That’s why you need to drivel early in the morning, or after it cools off in the evening.
There seems to be a drought of useless drivel these days.
FTP for July before I go to bed.
:ftp:
for page 1195
Dentist appointment today.
Just got a FTF because the person searching for it before me looked before the cache was actually placed, but published.
I hate it when that happens.
