But it’s also a nice day to plant the garden.
I was hoping to get down your way today, but got hung up with the teaching thing. Spent over an hour with one student, and his dad was “helping” him.
I might have to go for a drive today.
FTP for HuMpDaY!
FTP for Monday. Got to visit Mom yesterday, mostly from a safe distance. They did allow a hug before we left.
Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there. I’ve seen a few flakes, but no accumulation on the ground.
:ftp:
for page 1185
Apparently my quarantine cut didn’t go so well. Betty says she is going to “fix” it later today.
I should probably mow my lawn today, before the snow comes.
Made some Italian sausage from venison in the freezer yesterday. Today I am planning to till the garden. I want to plant on Saturday.
FTP for Cinco de Mayo.
Didn’t forget, I was setting it up for you, amita17. But I will take the FTP for Star Wars Day. May the Fourth be with you!
Oh, I forgot the 80 or so flowering crab-apple trees.
It is “No Mow May” here in Appleton in support of our pollinators. Not really sure how to feel about this. Residents will be allowed to forgo the 8″ maximum grass height to allow for the bees and such to do their springtime duties. Then back to normal requirements in June.
I live in the country. I have 130 acres of land. I mow about 2.5 acres, have about 80 acres of woodlands, 25 acres of grassland, and the balance in wetlands. I have 5 apple trees, two cherry trees, two pear trees, and 2 plum trees. The pollinators around here have plenty to do.
FTP for Blue Switch Day. Hope everyone has a chance to get out caching for at least one.
