Yes, the LCG will be continuing in 2020. I specifically recall approving your report. In checking, I see that the scoreboard appears to need to be set up for 2020. I’ll pass this info on the the webmaster team. Your report does show up in the recent reports, though.

This is a bit of an enigma. I am not a web designer, so I have pretty much stayed out of the web site discussion. I believe that a person should know what they are good at, and let other people take care of things that they aren’t good at. We have a team that has much more knowledge with this type of thing than me, so I trust them to make those decisions.

The weather man said that the snow would stop by 10:30, and it did, but now it is snowing again. Grrrr.

I think we are on the low side of what they predicted here. I haven’t been outside yet, but it looks like about 5 inches.

The main thing that I believe will drive member engagement is communication. We need to keep informing the members of the opportunities that are available to them to participate in THEIR organization. I’ve found that there is usually someone willing to help, if they are just asked.

Had a middle school girls basketball game to supervise after school, then drove to Pittsville for a wrestling meet. The co-head coaches are retiring at the end of the season, after 20 years of coaching together. One is a good friend and the other is my son-in-law’s sister’s father-in-law … so we’re practically related 🙂 After the meet there was a gathering at a local establishment. That’s why yesterday was a long day, and why today was another long day. Now I’m going to go to bed, so that I can get up tomorrow and clean the snow out of the driveway.
