Enjoying the sunny skies this morning. Much better than the unrealized snow event that was predicted.
I have enjoyed working with the board members that I have for the past two years, and while it is sad to see some of them moving on, I believe that I will have the opportunity to establish new relationships with the incoming board members. I also believe that, while it is vital to get new and fresh ideas, it is also important to have a degree of stability on the board, especially in the treasurer position. I hope to be able to provide that stability for the next two years.
Me too. I used to go weeks without logging in.

Not looking forward to the sub-zero temps, but at least it’s only for a day or two, not weeks.
It looks like a fun puzzle but it doesn’t appear that the answer is a set of coordinates but rather a point on the map. Is that really a geocache.
Using that point on the map, you can get coordinates. That’s what I did.
What map app. do you use to get such info. Google maps show an easily identifiable spot which I believe I could locate on the ground and may go to if and when I visit Home Depot at some time in the future.
I used the Wood County GIS system to locate the spot, but I didn’t try converting to GPS coords. I figured it would be easy enough to find from the sattelite view of the GIS system.
The internet is a strange place. There was a discussion taking place on the WGA facebook page about getting people to take on a board position. I know I had added my two cents in there somewhere, but even expanding all the comments in that thread, mine seems to have vanished. I know I said a couple things here as well and maybe I overlooked them, but the facebook comment disappearance kind of underscores why social media isn’t always the way to go.
Could it be as simple as if you are logged in or not?
Nope, that’s not it.
Have a safe and fun trip, Rod. Hopefully they will figure out the ice dam situation, and your house will be high and dry when you return.

I was fortunate to have been approved to host a Community Celebration Event. I have not decided on all the details, but it will be in the Marshfield area, and I’m thinking that I will hold it in early June, probably on a Saturday. I’ll post more details as I make those decisions.
Happy New Year, Threadstealers! Hoping 2020 treats each of you well.
We ended up with about 8 inches here, but I had drifts on the roof about 18 inches deep. Took almost 2 hours to clean off (most of) the solar panels. Wishing I had pole-mounted them instead of putting them on the roof.
Still snowing here, but the wind has really picked up, and now it’s drifting. I went over to help my son clear his driveway. I was there for about 20 minutes, and when I left I could not see the tracks I made on my way over.
Craphas came right on schedule this morning, starting by 6:00. We’re pretty close to the first inch of the 6 – 8 forecast.
Hmmm, wonder how that happened?
