Nice to see todsam posting in here.
Went 2 for 7 caching in Wausau today.
As a current BOD member, I am well-aware of what time and energy requirements there are. I am committed to continuing in my current role as treasurer for the next two years, if I am re-elected.
I only had a 30-mile round-trip drive to Marshfield and back, but the fog was thick and the driving was slow. About an hour after I got home, my daughter called to ask if I could feed her dogs and let them out when I took Grandma back to her apartment. Of course I told her that I would, so back out into the fog I went.
FTP for Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas everyone!
Forgot to mention, I also climbed a tree on Saturday, something fat old men probably shouldn’t be doing 😉
So that picture I saw on Facebook really was taken by you? Let me look for tree climbers in Rhinelander for when I got to Hodag next year. 😀
Yes, I was caching solo and ran into bartrod and Screamin’ Mimi on the way to that cache and another. I figured that since I was the youngest one in the group, the climbing was up to me. It was only about 18 feet up.
Had a good time at the Solstice event in Appleton. Found caches with bartrod and Screamin’ Mimi, with labrat, with rawevil, and with a big group of people.

That was my first time caching with you BigJim. And, it was my first caching trek since 02-02-19!!! The Solstice Event is always fun.
Hard to believe, but I think you are right. Saturday was the third day that I found a cache in the past three months. I found 2 at the picnic, two on the way home from the GIFF event, and 14 at the solstice event.

I think I got the right database to solve that puzzle, but it is hard to navigate on a phone. Not like I am likely to go get it anyway, but thanks for sharing it. It’s fun to see if I can solve it.
I can see where it would be hard to navigate on a phone. I had 4 tabs open on my laptop trying to figure it out. I never did figure out exact coordinates, but I think I can get close enough to follow the geotrail in the snow to GZ.
I see Noonan got an FTF on a puzzle cache in Rapids this morning. It took me forever to figure it out. I had never heard of this system before. GC8GYCD

He’s a good kid, man-bun, baggy sweats and all.
Must have been raised right.
FTP for Wednesday. Three more days until Winter Break.
The wording on the poll is a bit questionable. “Should the BOD consider swapping…” Should they consider it? Sure! It’s always good to evaluate. But the better question is “Should the BOD swap the picnic and the campout.” I would say yes to the 1st question but no to the 2nd question. But the way the question is currently worded is not as helpful.
In that case, please look at the intent of the poll question and don’t overthink the wording. I think that it is abundantly clear what the intent of the poll is.
