I don’t even know what a Johnny 5 is.
Woke up this morning and looked out the window. There is some strange, blue substance peeking out between the clouds.
There’s also this funny looking light bulb up there along with this blue substance.
I was happy to see that funny light. Got some ribs on the smoker right now.

FTP for May! Another beautiful day in paradise … if you’re a duck.
I actually got a bit of that a couple weeks ago after being out birding for the good part of a sunny day. Now I remember to use that gooey stuff.
It looks like I need to use more of that gooey stuff…dermatologist did a biopsy and it looks like he’s going to carve a piece out of my nose
I had that done a few years ago. Worst part was going to work with half my face covered in gauze and tape. Oh, but you don’t have to worry about that.
FTP for Monday morning. Ugh!
We didn’t get any here, either. It was a bit chilly, but we had over 200 youth participate in the Youth Outdoors Day at Mead Wildlife Area. I was demonstrating Dutch Oven Cooking, but it could have been a good venue for the WGA. Maybe next year.
Try again.
Hey Steve,
The new event stacking rule is a pain. For years the WGA held a pancake breakfast event the day after the Spring camp out. Last year we were told that we couldn’t have a separate event the next day in the same place because of this new rule.
Local Dodge dealer has a 2019 Ram listed on their website. MSRP is $40K, truck is listed for $25K. I went to look at it after work today, but couldn’t find it on the lot. Can you say “Bait and Switch?”
FTP for April 20th. Successful road trip. Got that old Cache Rescue done in Lee Park and sent a TB on it’s way again, after 5 years of being trapped in an Archived cache. Also have 3 nice containers, including an ammo can. Enjoyed the hike in Starved Rock SP in Illinois, too. Time for some spring chores today! Get up and get going!
Thanks for taking care of the Lee Park cache, Jim.
Happy National Animal Cracker Day!
Tomorrow will be sit at home and wait for the service technician to show up to fix the internet connection.
:ftp:
For page 1042
