Yes, and it’s a good thing that I found a couple other tags while searching 😉
Happy National Sponge Cake Day
I thought I lost my 100 Acre Wood pathtag, but I found it.
It probably just slipped your mind.
Happy Senior Citizens Day to all the aged thread stealers. You know who you are.
We had a tough time finding a new vocal music teacher, and ended up hiring a 25-year band director to fill the spot. Right now we are fully staffed with the exception of a business ed teacher.
Good morning Threadstealers! Getting ready to head to Regner Park to make some magic pancakes.
Who is heading to West Bend tonight for the Pre-Bash event?
I am planning to be there.
FTP for Tuesday. Annual physical today.
:ftp:
for page 950. This week is all about getting ready for West Bend
I was out of the drivel loop for a few days, too. Vacation in da UP
No real plans beyond Mackinac Island and Bond Falls. Otherwise it will be just whatever we happen upon.
We’re staying at the Kewadin Casino Hotel in St. Ignace Thursday and Friday, then we are going to Watersmeet on Saturday, stopping at Bond Falls and other places.
I leave tomorrow, too, but not for St. Louis. We are going to visit Mackinac Island. Should be passing through Oconto late morning. How far into the UP do I have to go to get good pasties?
I watched the Packer Hall of Fame induction and saw Mark Tauscher is from Auburndale. Did (do) you know the family, BigJim? I know, not that you’d care too much, as a Bears fan. And yes, I realize you are not old enough to have been his teacher!
Well I am OLD enough to have been his teacher, but I have not been teaching long enough. That and Mark attended the parochial school in Auburndale. He did attend the public high school and played sports. Interestingly, football was not his favorite sport. His basketball team won a state championship with Mark playing forward. Mark’s mom was a teaching assistant in the elementary school, and I worked with her for several years until they moved her to the high school. She has since retired. Mark’s sister has muscular dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair. I almost ran into her, literally, at the store today. Despite her disability, she lives independently, and can often be seen manning the red kettle for the Salvation Army or volunteering for other charities. Yeah, I know his family, and despite my team loyalty, I always wished the best for Mark in his NFL days.
