I just came across this thread and thought I would take a look at this cache page. I’m not real good at a lot of the puzzles out there but I was able to figure this one out pretty quickly. I thought this was a very novel and clever puzzle. I wish I could be so creative. If I ever get over to that area at least I now have the coordinates to go grab it. And Lostby7, thanks for the tune that I can’t get out of my head. 😆
Lostby7, when did you receive your coin? I checked the site the other day and the showed the coin as still being in pre-order status. Hopefully I will be getting mine soon too.
Thanks LostBy7 and Team Deejay. Funny how you can overlook the obvious when you are looking for something else.
I have found everything I need for all the requirements and am just waiting to log them all. While I am waiting I am finally getting around to solving the clues. For map pieces 6 and 7 I am not seeing any code words. Am I missing something here or am I supposed to be getting the code words elsewhere? I was under the impression each map piece would have it’s own code word. Perhaps that’s not the case? A nudge in the right direction from those in the know would be appreciated.
I received mine over the weekend as well.
I thought these were being mailed out first come, first served, based on when the requests were received. However, a couple of guys I cache with still have not gotten one and they sent their forms in before me.
Thanks for taking care of this so quickly
So will the $100 be in these caches forever since you should trade up or even? 😕
I have seen this going around. I haven’t had a chance to try it. Does anyone have any personal experience with this method? Just curious.
Along the same lines, how about placing new caches with nothing in them? My kids and I had the opportunity to go after a couple of FTF’s this week, both placed by the same person. In both cases the caches contained nothing but the log sheet. After expressing our disappointment in the log, I received an email stating the cache owner was no longer into trade items and only cached for the thrill of finding new locations and spending time with his dog. I am all for the fun of the hunt but my kids are looking for fun items to trade as well. 🙁
