Is page 64 in the new map the same as 58a on the old map? I found GC1D098 and when I ran the calculator it shows I didn’t find that page. And when I run the Delorme macro it doesn’t register either. Any ideas?

According to the cache page of the Wisconsin DeLorme Challenge (GCXPZR) this is what I have found pertaining to the “new map”…….

    7. The page boundaries probably stay pretty much the same from edition to edition of the atlas, but the copy held by the cache owner (9th edition) will be considered the final guide. IMPORTANT NOTE: The latest edition of the DeLorme atlas (as of 2008) have brand new map grids and a smaller amount of total pages. Don’t use this map! You’ll have to search around and find a copy of an older edition to do this challenge.

    I hope this helps.

I’d suggest you start at delorme.ikrug.com.

If you are a GSAK user, I have a 4 line macro which places the county in one user data field and the Delorme page in another. If you want it, I can send it to you.

This sounds like what I have been trying to find & use. Any chance you can help me with it by sending to me??

    Thanks abunch

Thanks for the info using the GSAK. I have GSAK but I know I do not use it to the full capicity that it can be used for. I am hoping that maybe sometime tis summer I can get a fellow cacher to pass their knowledge of using GSAK onto me.
    Again thanks for the info.

in reply to: Places to eat section #1900497

What about having a special section on the forum main page labled like “regional dining”?

Then within that section have it broke down like how the regional forum is with the different areas.

Then with in those forums have posts for like breakfast; lunch; dinner; fish fry; steak/prime rib; kids food (gotta make the kiddos happy with their food too….if the kiddo isnt happy aint no one gonna be happy); ice cream & desserts; coffee haus; bar/bar food (burgers; wings; ect); quirky out of the way places; ect; ect.

I know that might look like alot but broken down it is simpler & easier to look over if you are in a certain mood for food while out caching around the state.

But this is a good topic to discuss seeing that I use http://www.foodspot.com to look for places near caching areas that I am in. Bad thing is most of the time the places listed once you get there has been closed for some time & no one has updated the post.
