What I am about to say is not to be meant as a form of harassment to this cult BUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT…………….Has anyone thought about video taping the cult members themselves if they are taping you as you try to find the cache???
Maybe ask them what they are doing on public property??
Seeing they think they can ask questions & video tape of people on public property I would think fair is fair.

When I started caching with a former gentleman friend it was nice to plan on what & where the caches are hidden to just be able to get away from home for the day or weekend. But when he decided it was more important to set goals on how many caches or counties or pages to do when out that is when I decided it was fine for him & no longer fun for me.
However with this past spring I reevaluated when & where I would go caching IF I was going to go out caching. I have found that I cache when I have nothing better to do when I am up north…………but who wouldnt want to just relax by the lake enjoying the sights & sounds of the lake get away while the weather is still nice to enjoy it without freezing…….lolWhen the snow flies & the weather gets colder I am sure I will be thinking more & more about caching & getting out there.
I do have my lists made for grabbing when the mood hits me.

The ABC challenge sounds real fun to do. Looking forward to the Wisconsin version if it is put out there for us to do.

Thank you so very much for the 2 helpful ideas. I will be trying them in a few days.
Again thank you very much for the help.

Bring on winter. NO more ticks
Thanks bugsmasher69. I had to click on the “remote” instead of the “local” for shaded bar images seeing I was loading the stats onto the GC site.
Thanks again for the help.

Thanks for the great (& easy) help. I got it the 1st try however some of them bars in a few charts are missing the color for the levels. Any idea how to get that to show up???
Thanks again

I agree that you have a very cool caching name.
I have been caching for less then a year & I use a Garmin Etrex Legend.
At the most it is usually 13 ft off & I have not lost a signal (unless you count the time I didnt notice the batteries were almost dead & it turned itself off just as I was getting near a ground zero…..lol).Hope to meet you on-in-along the trails

I am a DAYDREAMER.
You perceive the world with particular attention to nature. You focus on the hidden treasures of life (the background) and how that fits into the larger picture. You are also particularly drawn towards the colors around you. Because of the value you place on nature, you tend to find comfort in more subdued settings and find energy in solitude. You like to ponder ideas and imagine the many possibilities of your life without worrying about the details or specifics. You are in tune with all that is around you and understand your life as part of a larger whole. You are a down-to-earth person who enjoys going with the flow.
I am a school bus driver. During the regular school I drive the special needs grade schoolers on a small bus. During the summer I drive the big regular bus for about 6 weeks for summer school.
Seeing I love to drive I thought it would make perfect sense to take up geocaching to stay practiced up on my defensive driving skills to see if I can be a FTF……….lol

05/05/2008 at 11:20 pm in reply to: Discussion of not logging temps, starting with this event #1888658I have to admit that to myself it is not at all about the number of finds & ect. It truly for me is the wondrous views of getting to the cache area. Also expanding out on a different route to familiar places not really having a reason to get out of routine directions until I started to geocache. I make a list of caches that I would like to try & if I have 50 on it & only find 1 then great………..if I find more then ok also.
Like this past weekend I was out state for a get together with friends. I had a list of caches to look for if I wanted to look for but the view from the condo deck overlooking the Mississippi River & time with friends to me was more important then racking up numbers. This just means that come fall when the colors are changing it will give me another excuse to revisit that area & then go caching. -
