The fair is not the fair until you hear a bad cover of Mustang Sally.
I don’t mind the crowds. As long as there are some yummy treats, I am good.
We are staying at the Heidel House. I think the wedding is there also.
Terrorist update: The mother is dead. We saw here leaving this evening in the mouth of a fox. I grabbed the camera, but the battery was not in it. In other news, there was a fox in my yard.
Too tired to drive to the WB tonight. Tomorrow is the only day we (entire gang) can go to the Wisconsin State Fair. We have a wedding in Green Lake next weekend. I chose to go to the fair with the family over the Cache Ba$h. Madelyn and I are planning on getting a Piece of Eight on Sunday morning, however.
Sometimes you think you are having a bad day. Then, a car 500 feet in front of you on the interstate explodes. The fire actually caused the tires to explode. Then you realize your day really isn’t too bad. Now, I am at the pool having a beer waiting for a little outdoor movie.

…..that doesn’t sound fun. We got about three minutes of rain and a few flashes of lightning, nothing major in the city this evening.
I let my premium membership lapse. I can’t log caches I found a few weeks ago until I pay the frog. I am too lazy to go get my wallet. I will have to do it tomorrow or whenever.
The Brewer’s posted a similar picture on their fb page friday night. It was also really fun to see fireworks in Johnson Creek with the moon behind them. My wife said she was happy I left the camera home. Because, she knew I would have stopped to take a few pictures.
If my memory serves correct, I believe our favorite driveling pirate turns a year older today. You are correct Sunny Flower. It is a feet up sort of day. I guess we “old” guys don’t recover too fast from 10 hours at a water park with a two hour commute on both sides. I did not mind looking out the windshield at the moon last evening. Come to think of it. The kids are not awake yet either. I guess I am more spry than a teen and tween.
I was going to get an Earth cache today, but my closest is 25.2 miles away. It can wait until next Sunday after a nice pancake breakfast in the WB. I am going to miss the Cache Bash this year. The only day we have free for the WI State Fair is the 8th. I would rather eat cream puffs than go to WB and cache.
It is really windy here. I hope the storms hold off until I can grill some treats for dinner. We do need it to rain badly.

No, they were gone today. BTW my parents take them to $5 movie Tuesday every week. They have seen Jurassic World every Tuesday for the last month. Hannah has always loved Dinosaurs. I am even more excited to see a Hardcover copy of Jurassic park from “my bookshelf” on the end table with a pink bookmark sticking out.
One of the terrorists gave birth to three still born terrorists under the swing set in my yard. Kind of sad, but also another evil act by the terrorists that I have to clean up.
A nice four hour nap.
