J & L must be sleeping. Happy Hump Day!
No driveling and driving. I was delaying leaving. I just arrived home after another 12 hour day with commute. I did not know that Country Thunder was in Twin Lakes this weekend and my stores along the I-94 and Hwy. 50 corridor were crazy busy.
I don’t think I could ride that long. Good for them. They should be proud…definitely worth a victory photo.
The pedometer in my pocket says that I took 29,245 steps today or 12.36 miles.
A good weekend ahead: Hannah has a show. Our friend’s daughter is coming home and bringing a boyfriend (she is 27.), so a picnic is in order. Sunday, I might watch the thunderbirds downtown or catch Ant Man. I might even log the caches I found last week. Who knows, I might not have any time.
It’s Friday, I am already late for work. I don’t think I can make it to Kenosha in 30 minutes. Yet, I am driveling. I have had enough of this week.
Jalapenos and peanut butter……that is new to me. I have had the other. I was not a fan of the sauce with the burger.
Just took a work call from my pool chair. My boss was a bit jealous.
Yesterday, I was at a rural cemetery somewhere near Madison. I saw a gravestone of a lamb. It had been toppled over. So, I moved it back to the correct position and took time to remove the weeds that had overgrown the flat part. I removed grass clippings from the engraving to realize that this young man lived a mere 4 years, nearly a century ago (1914-1918).
An hour ago, I realized that my AC was not working. I started to panic about the cost of repairs. I took my back up batteries for my GPS out of my bag and put them in my thermostat hoping it was that simple. It was and everything is fine.
I think that Master Norman Prehn just said “thank you.”
:ftp: while swatting skeeters
I might have to stop at a blue roof on my way to puzzle of books. I am just leaving New Glarus Woods.
5 star souvenir….acquired
Goodnight.
Good Morning.
Does everyone have a D5 or T5 cache picked out for the next souvenir?
Yep. GC39D5P I have to drive to Madison Sunday anyway. I know it is a little cheap.
The ride to work this morning was interesting. The rain wasn’t bad, the lightning wasn’t awful, but the wind sucked.
I hope everyone had a good “lunch”. The younger pirate and I were going to come before the work situation changed. But, this week I will earn enough to pay for half of her braces.
The older one has theatre camp the next two weeks.
Everyone have their 5 star cache picked out. I have to drive my mom-in-law to Madison Sunday, so I have one all planned.
This would be second post of the day from my pool chair. The man attired in banana hammock just strutted past me and I thought I would share in words this experience. I shan’t share a visual, because my suffering shall suffice. Nothing else, I am heading back to Finders Keepers.
