Removed bug spray and McDonald’s Toys from car to make room for work binder……….changing priorities.
I bought new tires Tuesday………had a screw removed from tire today.

I am still alive. It was not a fun day, but I got paid. Sometimes being the new kids sucks.
Today, I have my favorite work assignment. Go to this address, meet this unknown person, they need help doing something. I would like to say I had a good life just in case I shan’t return.

I can’t remember the last time I worked on a Monday. It has been like 10 years.

Tonight was fun. The older daughter plays in the fiddle club at school. We went to her concert tonight. It was heavy on Irish Folk tunes for obvious reasons and they always end with “Boil ’em Cabbage Down”.
We did go to the frozen yogurt place YoMama. I had watermelon sorbet with fresh kiwi and cherries.
Mr. GT that is exactly what happened. My “guy” charged me $40 to change the oil, air filter, and to clean the carb. I am not complaining.

I tried to cut the grass. The lawnmower air filter had gas in it. I think the carburetor has some issues. I am doing the lazy thing. I found a guy to pick it up and fix it tomorrow. I feel old, I have a lawn mower “guy”.

You would think with Dave retiring the other guys would have new shows this week.
The first cake was bad. So, I tried it a second time with different ingredients and a different sized pan and it was tasty. I was kind of thinking aloud.
raining. The grass is too wet to cut. There are 13 more days of school. There are 12 school days ’til middle school promotion. We still have two orchestra concerts. There have been 3 visits to the pool since Friday or $62 of the $240 already recouped. I finally made it to 100 finds this year. The ladies decided not to see Tomorrowland. I wasted $5 to see Mad Max. The rhubarb cake I baked was much better the second time around. A Coopers Hawk has learned the bird feeders are an easy place to find a meal. I wonder why they do not use their beak in the kill. It is interesting to watch them squeeze their prey. The terrorists, rabbits, have multiplied. We saw two kits yesterday. The neighbor has her husband pee in a bottle and then pours it around her garden to deter the rabbits. It doesn’t work, but I think he eats a lot of asparagus. Did I mention it is raining?
I see the weather is supposed to be beautiful this weekend……if you like 50 and wet.
