It seems like a great day to get lost in a warehouse of alcohol. Translation: Have a great day, I am headed to work.
The Alpaca is my favorite. She has a great personality. The rhinos are separated indoors. You will have to wait until summer. We finally saw Sulaiman today, lowland gorilla born in November. The visits will slow now.
Congrats on the job Beccaday.
Our bird feeder has been a bit more diverse lately: cardinals, sparrows, starlings, juncos, chickadees, house finch, mourning doves, pileated woodpecker, and a downy woodpecker. Two weeks ago all we had was sparrows and mourning doves.
Kittens, vanilla, and pie.
A lot of weird things going on with the log in. Some modules have me logged in an others do not. Some times some pages have me logged in and others do not.
No. I would have felt strange not knowing any of the people there. I also really do not like funerals. I have requested that I do not have one. Hannah has the 15 numbers and 2 letters where to dump me after I am gone.
I had a Budweiser ( I bought one 12 oz. bottle) with dinner tonight. A secret revealed: five years ago this summer, my wife and I played hooky and went to State Fair sans children. We were both concerned we would be found out. We ran into John and Sharon at the Budweiser Pavilion. We had a beer together, watched an Elvis impersonator, and laughed. My wife begged them not to post anything online. VG posted here that he had so much fun watching Elvis and being at State Fair, but did not mention us. A fun man, he was.
Dad got his “get out of jail” card (Notice: I did not say free. The tax payer’s of our great nation will be footing that bill. Thank you.).
Chili is in my future.
I knew you would catch it. Last night I was sitting at the Hospital wondering if Cheeto, Jerry’s Dad, Rtrsrnhvn, koolmaK, gotta run, peach, and so many others ever stop by for a lurk. I still think the picnic at Roche-a-cri could have been my favorite event. There were a lot of fun people there and a few skinned squirrels.
I am hoping dad gets discharged soon, so I can get a bowl of Chili this afternoon. I have come to the conclusion that the Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin has much better cafeteria swill than St Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee. I thank my parents for frequenting these locations, so that I have had this opportunity to compare the two.
Mom is fine with the knee rehab. Dad fainted yesterday during cardiac rehab. They thought it better that he have a sleep over last night for observation. His heart and all other important stuff is still fine this morning. They think someone was just a bit depressed and tired from leaving some clothing behind in the land of round-a-bouts Thursday. This, no breakfast, and working out too hard contributed to his episode.
Lacknothing went to Petra…..nice. Did you find the sang greal?
I was the same way SL. I typed a few things and could not bring myself to push the submit button when I saw it about 6:45am.
Really sad news on Facebook this morning.
Who shook the snow globe? Lake effect fluff is falling this morning. It is pretty and annoying.
greetings.
Wonder if the eagle thought something on the playground was a prey animal? I think Mrs. Timberline Echoes witnessed an eagle pick up a soccer ball and then it got stuck on its talons for a bit. Our Cooper’s Hawk was chased out of its hiding spot in the trees when one of the dogs went out this morning.
I have lived in this community for 40 years and this was the first Bald Eagle I have ever seen here. We think there is something on the roof that interests the birds we often see Hawks circling the same pattern. It was kind of cool.
Pirate??? Maybe she will go to Seton Hall University or East Carolina.
A strange bird sighting this afternoon. There was a Bald Eagle circling the playground at my daughter’s school in Wauwatosa. I have seen Red Tailed Hawks in the area, but never an Eagle. There is a mom that works at the Audubon Nature Center. I was heading to talk to her about it and she was already looking for me. We both thought we were seeing things. A third confirmed the sighting.
Summer plans, we are thinking about a road trip if the gas stays cheap.
I was a bit rambunctious last evening after the shoveling. Sorry.
We had a meeting with the middle school guidance counselor this morning regarding my daughter’s academic, social, and career path. (Yes, It is cold out and kids get to school alive) In first grade she wanted to be a waitress, fifth grade she wanted to be a nature photographer, eighth grade she wants to be an actress and/or an English teacher. We will see where it goes. But, I am encouraged by the trending path.

Good Job TBC!!! Thank you.
