I have not logged off since I signed into the new website, somehow I was logged out and forgot my password. Thank You WA for getting me back in here. I wrote down the password this time.
Learned today that the wifeâs company will no longer offer health insurance as a benefit. Thank you democrats.
Ouch! What are you going to do?
We have a couple of weeks, but it is not fun so far. I am learning about the gigantic fraud monster that Healthcare.gov is and will continue to become. The plans similar to the family plan we are accustomed to is a “cadillac” plan and financially impossible for us. We have a meeting with a broker later today. I teased my wife that we should divorce. She can have all the investments, savings, home, everything. The only thing I would get is the kids. I could pay her rent to live with her. With my salary and lack of savings, I would qualify for free insurance, food stamps, rent assistance, etc. I know why low-income people do not get married anymore. It will work out.

I found two survey marker discs yesterday in Port Washington along the breakwater. Neither is listed as a benchmark at geocaching.com, so I guess I canât log them. Not sure why they wouldnât be listed.
I remember taking a photo of a couple there a long time ago by the marina and was curious why they were not listed as a benchmarks. If I remember correctly they were just before or past the metal grated walkway.
I have a few fun memories of that place. We used to live close to the marina before kids. Mrs. BBG and I spent a lot of time walking those break walls spring and summer mornings before the older one was born. Most of the time we would have a Webb’s Breakfast after, I do not think the Webb’s is still there.
Thank you Aaron Rodgers. Without your ‘brilliant’ performance, I would have no chance to win my semi-final game in the pretend football league with former thread stealers and I would not have won the semi-final in my other league. I am playing for $400 and a really obnoxious trophy next week. I get $300 no matter the outcome. Mrs. BBG’s milestone birthday present rests on the outcome.
No owls, two caches, 10 images (I like) and few miles on the feet. Good times
It just doesnât seem right to view snowy owls without any snow.
They will be easier to spot……hopefully.
Lavvin Kirzawa?????????
I was just told they cancelled my work shift tomorrow. I now have the morning free. I just saw that there have been some snowy owl sightings in an area with a cluster of caches I have not found. I might have a good morning after all.
We lost a post? You would think that a group of people that can spot a pencil eraser size container in the thickest of jungles could locate a post on page 10. I think we are slipping.
Have a good day.
I love the Disney Diner at the Studios that has view masters as their menu. It was a lot of fun.
I over-dosed on Christmas String music today. Both kids had concerts and we had the parents over in between for dinner. It all was fine until someone clogged the toilet. There is nothing like plunging in a suit.
It seems it is impossible to get an oil change without a technician urging you to do one of the following: replace your flux capacitor (sarcasm), sea foam cleaning, brake balancing, engine and cabin filters, and new tires (mail in rebate this month). It is ironic that both of our cars need the exact same things, it must be a Toyota thing.
It is only five days until Friday. This week is a bit busy. We have 3 shows of Miracle on 34th Street, Orchestra concerts for both ladies, a December Birthday celebration (even though her birthday is next Sunday), and all the other usual stuff. After next Sunday, I have no single-digit children.
We had our second-annual sheephead holiday party honoring my father’s father Saturday. I had a great time with my cousins. We all enjoyed watching our children play. We are trying to set it up so we can get together more than the three times a year. The house is beginning to look like a Christmas wonderland. There is more fake craphas indoors than real craphas outdoors.
I have never experienced the anomaly mentioned above.
OK, now I can post from page 28.
BBG, we saw Kris Kringle last night, too. Ever since a community group bought the old theater building here in town a few years ago, they have put on a live radio play in December. This year was âMiracle on 34th Streetâ. The âactorsâ all dress in 1940s clothes (the local theater was built in 1946), and they read their script parts into microphones. There are sound effects that we can watch them make, and there are signs for âON AIRâ and âAPPLAUSEâ. They have girls reading boysâ parts, low-voiced women and boys reading mensâ parts, and the players who arenât reading at the time sit on the stage and âchatâ with each other, or file their nails, or have a nip or two⊠all sorts of action to watch. Oh, and there are commercials, too, and Christmas carols during intermissions and at the end of the radio play.
And the Kris Kringle we saw had no beard and was wearing a shirt, pants, and suspenders⊠no red suit⊠but he had the right voice for the part.
How fun. There is a theatre that does radio plays here, but I have not been to it. We were going to go last year, but it was always sold out. I think that would be a lot of fun.
I just had a beer with Kris Kringle. Parents were invited to the opening night party, so we could meet the adults our kids are spending a lot of time with this month. Fun night all around.
It seems to be a little stale in here. I thought I would bring in some “freshness”.
