Miracle on 34th Street curtain rises in 3 hours and 10 minutes. Daughter is very excited. She has a 6:30 call. Her first non-school complete production. We are all attending tomorrow, I am feeling a bit guilty I will not be there tonight. $25 a ticket times 13 was not doable.
Both ladies are doing homework listening to the original Broadway soundtrack to Savannah Hamlet. Other daughter really enjoyed the touring version we saw over a week ago. How can you not when Tshidi was Rifiki?
Condolences to trekkin. I am a few decades behind, but I have lost a couple High School friends and it just makes you feel weird inside.
I love the photo SL.
We have a copy of the original script, there is a lot missing.
My first ftp on the new site.

The kitty was playing, I assume.
It started snowing as Madelyn and I were drinking coco and watching Charlie Brown Christmas. Life memory made. We did enjoy the Toy Story special too. It gave some glimpses of what the next film will look like. The wife is at her first dress rehearsal ever. She was never a theatre person, but volunteered to work back stage as kid Wrangler for a few productions. Tonight was her practice.
Glad this one is over. Goodnight.
She played nice when they had complete control of her system. So, it does not appear to be too bad. She let them control her computer to download some crap clean up tool you can download free. I found a few cookie collectors, but nothing too serious. The malware scans came back clean. The charge had not reached her Credit card company. After a brief discussion, they said they will take care of it they know the scam. She gave them enough money (or so they thought) that there was not too much damage done. I have read that if you refuse payment when they have control they start deleting your files. I guess that is what happens to trustworthy people.
I guess I only found 10 caches in November 9 owned by the man with the left hand malady(Maybe, he is just a bit ‘wicked’). It has been too cold and the itch has not struck.
I spent the morning at the hospital. Mom had the other knee replaced. Everything went as planned. I have a bit of a cold so they put me in a bubble. I was the only one available to sit with dad, who goes just a bit crazy during these situation.
I am about to enter another fun situation. It appears my mom-in-law got a pop up on her computer locking her screen telling her something and to call a number. She gave out her personal info and a nominal fee (credit card) to fix her “problem”. Already cancelled credit card, she disabled her antivirus for them to download some software. Just a Mess.
Behind the scenes video.
Ahoy me Mateys. It seems the squirrel does not communicate by semiphore. Its high tech communication was not getting through to the pirates. The powers that be have granted me access. It is nice to be able to communicate with all of you. I am a lurker no more. Thank you WA and Black Cat.
I hope Thanksgiving was enjoyed with friends and family.
We find a few a year in the wild. It is about the same as when we first started.
Beccaday: We have one of your bottle caps on our refrigerator.
Hack 1 of 2: This might be it:
Please add some of your pictures to this thread. It is easy enough to add a link using one of the photo sharing sites.
From what I heard, this was a success. A big thank you and pat on the back to the cache hider and the people that developed this concept.
I just wish I was a bit closer when it was published. I should not have skipped lunch to search for other caches. I thought it was fun as a “dumb phone” user to search out a “smart phone user” to get the coordinates.
It seemed to me that most people were having a great time.
Devil’s Advocate hat is now off:
The idea of a cache published at the picnic is new and might be fun. It could even create some teaming up of new faces. I just wanted to throw out what could be perceived. It is best to keep the event fresh with new activities otherwise it will feel like the same thing every year. Eventually, they will all blend together.
I posted what I did, because I have heard over the past few years that some have a negative view of the WGA. I think we ALL need to look at activities keeping that in mind. I too was a little surprised the first time.
Devil’s Advocate hat is now on:
There have been rumblings that people avoid the WGA and its events because they have the feeling of a high school cafeteria where all that matters is the ‘cool kids’. There are some that feel that the WGA and its membership are not very welcoming. This idea of a group FTF may be really fun and exciting idea for the picnic to the “cool kids”. Those who do not visit these forums/facebook or have notifications sent to their phones may just feel more like an outsider.
