Feeding the addiction:
Just a little bit. It is my current desktop image. My time was 42:55. I was interrupted a few times.

I thought I would provide something new.

Sea Caves open via ice hiking #1974004On Thanksgiving Day back in 2008, we ran into Team Vaughn at GC1BY16 . He said that they always went geocaching on Thanksgiving to get the kids out of the house while the meal was being prepared. I thought it was a great idea. He told us about the Bugline trail during our conversation. The next day my daughter Hannah and I visited Sussex and the Bugline for the first time and started a “Black Friday” tradition. We cache together. We have conquered Mr. GT’s “Eight Tiny Reindeer” GC21403 , “Backroads Bingo” GC31X9R, “Geocaching Pickers (American Pickers shop in LeClaire, IA) GC3MYET among our adventures.
This year, we are heading to Clinton, IA to find the “CAGE” GC4HD36 with stops in Dubuque and other places along the way. With her busy schedule, I do not get to talk to her very often. It is nice to sit in the car for a day with her and get an update on how life has been treating her.
Congrats…… :like:
Illinois here
I met them on the trail Saturday by the puzzle/puzzle cache. I did not know he was the Vlogger.
Congrats to the Froggerz. It has been great finding a few of those with you. If anyone thinks that they will not see this here, you would be wrong. One of the Frogs is a lurker 😯 I look forward to hiking for miles or crawling in the mud with you soon.
I had an amazing time. The caches and the fellowship made it a very enjoyable experience.
The one thing that I thought could be improved was the official program. A lot of teams were using the descriptions of each cache in the program as their guide. It makes sense to do that, but the mystery caches were not fully explained. I ran into a group at GC3TTEB that was searching for the cache at the given coordinates. They had no way of knowing how to find the final using the official program. It led to some confusion and frustration.
I would not be offended by a “gambling” theme.
