Wisconsin Veteran Memorial River Walk (GC1G1VD)
If you read back in the logs, you can see that I found that cache with the wife and kids last year on Memorial Day. We had a nice walk and enjoyed the civil war re-enactment camp that was there. The kids were able to get a cannon firing lesson. It was a great experience. No plans yet for this year, but I am sure we will get at least one.
Ten 13 GC13Q60 is my most embarrassing muggle story.
Nice cache to grab a milestone, Congrats!
“And geocache maintenance is not just for geocache owners. Courteous geocachers often help with cache maintenance, which helps increase the quality of the game for all. ItΓ’β¬β’s easy. You simply bring additional supplies such as an extra geocache container, swag, logbooks, and pens on your geocaching adventures. That way youΓ’β¬β’re prepared to help out another geocacher by fixing a cache that needs maintenance on the spot.”
I saw this on the official Geocaching blog Latitude 47
http://blog.geocaching.com/I thought I would post this here considering the issue raised was more about maintenance then P&G’s or C&D’s.
First, nice thread.
Second, My fist cache find was GC132AR “Stairway to Cooper”. I think my log sums it up” π This was our first cache find! It was Fun.”
It was the closest to home. My daughter, Hannah (then 5), and I walked over to the park after school and found it. We took a Miller Pencil and left a $1. Good Times.Pleased to meet you also.

Has anyone on here ever run into a cache hider that has admitted to moving the cache location around to different spots on the final because of cheating or an experiment? When I say cheating, I am referring to how one may call a previous finder and ask for a clue. A phone a friend if you will.
I have, because I am one. GC37XQF , I make it known it may move in the hint. It is a puzzle cache that I set up in a way that things can be altered slightly. This is intended to be a difficult cache and I wish to keep it that way.
Why was I thinking the snow would be yellow? This was much more impressive. Thank you for sharing.
Congratulations.
