“how do some of you handle days with lots of caches to log?”
Digital Photography. I will be trying field notes out for the first time this weekend. I will let you know how it goes.
😳 😳 😳 😳 😳 😳 😳
I have to admit I have also written some fairly poor logs.
I try to have fun writing logs, whether it is talking about paranormal communication devices, octogenarian ornithologists, a photosynthesizing opposable digit, or the pulchritudinous waterfall (LB7, I know technically that is anthropomorphism). I know that all cachers do not have the time to write detailed logs. I think I really started to think about writing logs when Martin of the Goldie Diggers told me that it was cool to have an online journal of his geocaching adventures. I think if more people would think of their logs as a personal journal entry, they would take more time. I know that I am happy that many of the adventures that I have had with my daughters are chronicled in the logs attached to my profile. I go back and I am glad I have more to read then “TFTC”
My 2 cents. Mr. G. why would you give up the secret here? I was going to comment how I bought a Kayak for the cache, but I thought that went too far 😉
Edited: because I am sleepy.

pm me your address and wait a week, one will magically appear. I have a e-trex vista HCX cable that seems to have no purpose.
I just want to know when you found time to find caches with all the posting that goes on here 😉 A wise women once told me that you can never climb back on to the cliff.
Congrats on reaching the #1,500 milestone.
I thought I would get in on this one:
Date: August 2
Weight: 7 lbs 4 Oz
Boy Name: William August
Girl name: Summer WillowI guess girl, because that is all I really have experienced.
Residential caches can be interesting. The one that pops into my mind is GC1W9WT , but it is a little different then a few others that I have found. I do understand your concern.
Congrats Mr. Hippie and children!!!! I know that you had them with you. I bet you were trying to get that milestone, before the arrival of the new hippie. Interesting puzzle, I will have to take a look at it. Congrats again!
At your current pace, Mr. Greenthumb might have to clear a day in his calendar next week. Congrats on the Milestone.
I received an e-mail from Garmin support today. This is a common problem with this unit. It is too old to return and I don’t want to pay to have it repaired. I guess I am manually entering coordinates until I follow MR. G’s advice.
Might be time for a shiny new Delorme.
Everyone’s “kit” is different. I think when you start a GPS, pen/pencil, and some batteries are more then enough to have some serious fun. As you find more caches, you will figure out what works for you. If you decide you really like Earthcaches, you may need to add a thermometer, PH strips, and a tape measure to your kit. It depends on how you play the “game”.
Congratulations on 4,000.
I knew it was coming this weekend and I was awaiting the log. It looks like it was a challenge. Keep havin’ fun.
2,000 in 4 years seems like a good pace to me 😉
Congratulations neighbors 😀
It is a a fitting cache for a milestone. I just saw that you took the flag back there as well. It has been fun running into the two of you more then a few times. I have said it before, but I must say it again. I think that the two of you have more fun caching then anyone else that I have met. Keep cruising through the numbers on your adventures.
I agree with Mr. Greenthumb. His caches hidden in Ryan Park make for a fun few hours.
