Are metal detectors allowable…? I don’t own one nor have I ever used one, but I am curious if they are allowed (I know for sure they are not in Arkansas)in certain states.
My question is..do I congratulate you now for 2900 or send early congrats for when you top 3,000 in the next week or so. How about if I do both? Way to go!
I’d also like to extend a hearty congratulations to Miata and to thank Cathunter for organizing this fun event.I found it to be a great learning experience as well. I hope this is only the first of more to come.

Good point. I did a couple caches this last weekend that turned out to be no finds because my printouts weren’t up to date. I usually double check these things, but was in too much of a hurry. Live and learn
I think the record for caches in a day by a Wisconsin cacher is just over 100..which of course included all 99 of the BoB series down in Chicago. That’s alot of caching, anyway you look at it.
I think a hint, although helpful, would take away from the mystique of the cache. I myself like a challenge..sooner or later, We’ll figure it out..even if it takes a few more trips. Looks like people are finding it now anyways.
