Great cache to use as a milestone. Keep up the good work.
The Waukesha Parks CITO event is planned for April 14th, but I do agree that every day is CITO day, and it’s a pleasure to team up with other caches that follow that.
Way to go, Renee. Congratulations on your milestone AND your anniversary.
C’mon Jay. You should know about margarita’s… 😀
Congratulations Jay Mills. I also see that you got your first FTF yesterday. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations Mary. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations Rick. Keep up the good work.
I guess I would. Why not? Before I met you and Mark at the event in Kenosha a while back, I was a stranger. Well…maybe just a little strange .
It’s not about numbers, but even as it is, her numbers are incredibly impressive considering that the bulk of it was done in a time frame when caches were much fewer and farther in between. To measure what Lil Otter has meant to Wisconsin geocaching is beyond description. In terms of the quality of her caches, both hides and finds, and the impact she has had on others, she is truly a legend.
Congratulations. Nothing wrong with 2 months and 29 days to nab another 100 caches. The key is to be consisitant. Keep up the good work.
Congrats Dave. I think the 6.5 mile hike is very impressive as well.
Congratulations Marc. Nice meeting you on your cache run in SE Wisconsin a few weeks ago. I know you do a lot of multi’s and puzzle caches along the way. Keep it going.
Congrats on your latest milestone, John. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations on your 3,000th find. Glad I could accompany you on one of them during your recent trip to SE Wisconsin.
I agree with Team Deejay, and another thing you can do is watch the listings to see which ones are being found. Granted some people may throw you off with fake footprints in the snow, but at least you’ll know which ones are findable. Also look for larger containers or ones that are hidden above the snow level. Check attributes for ‘winter-friendly’ caches, and dress for the elements. I’ve been on cache hunts in near zero weather where I’ve actually gotten so into the hunt, that I didn’t even notice how cold it was.
