I was wondering what your projected selling cost of this is going to be. To me it looks like it might be fairly expensive to assemble. I would think if you are over the $20 to $25 range most people would think that was to much to try on something that they probally will not use very much.
But if I go log three finds for a three part multi I would be run out of the area. Multi logs for events or caches just isn’t right as far as I am concerned.
If you need that many finds to pad your totalls why not just make up a sockpuppet account and go hide a lot of caches on that one and then find them under your regular name and that way the rest of us can find them too and get credit were it is really deserved.
OH wait if you did that then you probally wouldnt be way out ahead of everyone else who is playing fair.

Even if some of us do not know where Portage is, it does not get eliminated as a target.
HEY!!! I know where Portage is….
I regularly post out of state finds from the area I find them in and have them show up in the recent logs.
I just noticed that the caches that were published today did not show up in the recent logs so must have been a glitch in the system.

Anyone know what the current conditions are in Waupun?
Portage got about 10 inches and it is still coming down plus lots of drifting.
We have been members of the Geocoin Club for about a year now. They were having problems being a couple weeks later then what the delivery date was suppose to be but the last few months they have been on time. The coins are nice and good quality. Over all we are happy with them.
Here is the cache.
Wonder what the difficulty of the hide was. Must be pretty easy if two lost hikers in a blinding snowstorm and no GPSr managed to find it.
Nope wasn’t me.
Ah Dave it is going to take more then 3 dollars to win one on there.
There is a thread at the main gc forums about this. It is apparently a false alarm and nothing to worry about this time. Here is the link to the thread.

I really don’t think beer belongs in a cache, but I wouldn’t have any problems finding a cold one while out caching on occasion.. 🙂
One mentionable- most beers will not break open and leak if frozen. TS & Laurie taught us this trick before Rock Island a couple of years ago- put your beer in the freezer for a couple of days before camping- it works better than ice in the cooler and tastes just fine after it thaws.
I drive truck and we haul alot of beer and trust me frozen beer cuts the shelf life of it down to a couple of days if your lucky and any beer in any container will freeze solid and break the container at minus 20 degrees. It is a constant battle for us to pick it up and deliver it without it freezing in the winter months.
Any updates on when they are going to be avialable?
I didn’t notice that coin in your box when I was looking at them. Gives you a little bit of an idea when it got added to the box if you remember when I was looking. 😀
10/02/2007 at 4:54 am in reply to: Now taking Reservations for the WI_Robin Personal Geocoin #1876534If you check the WI_Robin geocoin thread on gc forums there is a big problem with the large coins and you should email the caching place with the coins numbers and what kind of errror it is saying. I guess some are not in the data base and some have numbers all ready issued to other coins. They are working on the problem and do not have a solution yet. I all so have one that is not in the data base.
Here is the email response I got back from the caching place a few days ago.
I’m sorry for the code problem! Our mint has made an error with some of the
Robin coins. We are in the process of trying to find out exactly how to
resolve the issue. Once I know more, I will contact you and let you know.
Did you just have the one coin? If there are others, please send me those
numbers as well. Thanks for your help and understanding.
