Just don’t give up all hope on your missing tb’s and coins. Just last week I had one of my coins show up after being missing for over two years. And another coin showed up this month after being missing for over a year. I am on a roll right now, maybe more of my 100 plus missing coins will show up soon. 🙄

I just did a coordinate update today that was 119.1 feet with no problem.

I had one that was 602 feet that I had to get the reviewer to move it for me.

That’s why you should use notepad and save regularly. Then copy and paste to the cache submit form to see if it works.

Why not do a combination of all the suggestions about tickets? Give the two out at the beginning, additional tickets for finding the checkpoints and for those who want the competition of finding all the caches put the stamps in the caches and then have additional prizes for most caches found, the quickest time, etc. etc.

I have a tb sticker on my car and it has only been discovered at events. Keep hoping it will be found some where that I wouldnt expect it to be found. But I do get a lot of comments about my license plate. I think everyone is so interested in it and they forget to look if there is a tb tag.

    All caches on page 58a are GC1PGCV, GC1PFEP, GC1NXWW, GC1MDP9, GC1AG3B, GC1AG3N, GC1AG3G, GC1AG2D, GCD239, GC14BAG, GCZQVP.

It is possible that I might have missed one or two but I don’t think so.

It is a real shame that owners of virtuals who get tired of them don’t put them up for adoption to another cacher who is willing to do the necessary work instead of archiving them and having them gone forever.

Any other people out there who get tired of their virtuals please drop me a message. I am more then willing to take them over then let them be archived and lost for ever.

Just dress up as a homeless person and walk around mumbling to yourself while pushing your shopping cart full of junk and people will not even see you much less bother you.

this is better than the old fashioned way

    for those with out GSAK

That is very helpful to tell what pages the caches you have all ready found are on.

The gsak macro will tell you were the caches that you haven’t found are located which makes it a lot easier to decide what ones to do to get the pages you dont have.

And if you don’t use GSAK?

Then you do it the old fashion way. A map, ruler, paper and a pencil.

I test the newest version for windows today, which is 2.5.3. It throws an error when I try to transfer to my card reader or my 60Cx.

The last version that works for me is 2.4.2, It can be found here: http://www.gpsinformation.org/perry/agree.html

Just look for the file named “POILoader_242.exe”.

I have a folder with multiple .GPX files and some Garmin .CSV files. I also have custom icon files for each one. This setup might be part of whats causing the issue for me, either way the older version works.

I am using 2.4.2 right now and that one starts and stops and takes about thirty minutes to load a large file. The older versions didn’t do that but I dont remember what release the problems started and can’t find any where that has the old versions available to download. I think when they went to v2 is when the promlems started for me.

I am loading mutiple gpx files containing from 5 to 12,000 cahces in them and custom icons for each. I probally should mention I have a 60csx that I am loading them too.

The POI loader used to work great for me with my 60Cx, then with one of the upgrades they did it always crashes when I try sending to my GPS. I downloaded an older version & it worked fine again.

Decided this might have been a fluke & upgraded when a newer version came out, I had the same issues all over again.

What version are you using and where did you find it?

When I load large gpx poi file of 5,000 or more into mine the program freezes and a whole lot of other things but if you sit there patiently after twenty or thirty minutes it will start responding again and loads everything correctly and then gives you the nice finish button to click.
