I saw something similiar last year southeast of Madison and wondered why and what that was done too.
Got my daily PQ’s at their regular time this afternoon.

I’ve read many references to “nude geocaching”, but only recently found out that it’s actually the same as “Dry” caching. No GPS.
I have a geocoin that shows differently.

so that Cachemate does not go bananas
Or better yet write cachemate every month and request they rewrite their program to recognize all the different ways caches are named and totally solve a whole bunch of problems at one time.
I think it is a little tacky and a huge slap in the face to all the cachers in WI who have WSQ caches hidden for well over a year to be told these new ones are the official ones. And for as much as I disagree with alot of what Marc has to say, these new caches are really a huge diss to him because of all the hard work he has done to get the wsq going and not being mentioned in them or the implication that his work to get them all started isn’t very important.
Clicked on geoswag.com’s homepage tonight and the geocoin buddy tags were on the main page near the bottom.
I guess I should be more up on our local elected goverment officials because Doug Klapper is one of Portage’s City Council men. But I wonder if he is an active cacher?

I think you’re talking about a Travel Bug Buddy.
I’ll email you the website.PM sent.
I did not find a Travel Bug Buddy at the site that you sent me.
Keep looking on that site. They are there somewhere because that is where I order mine from.

Has anyone said, I want nothing to do with the organization because of it’s *outdated* logo?
The first time I wondered across the WGA website I wasn’t really impressed with the logo or how the home page is set up. My initial thought of the logo was that it was really basic and looked liked something that was quickly thrown together to get the association up and running. The homepage doesn’t have anything on it to make it jump out at you and get your attention and want to make you continue onto the other pages on the site. It also looks like it was thrown together quickly and has had nothing major done to it since it’s beginning. So yeah I all most didn’t look thru the rest of the website because it looked like a hodgepodge, part time organization from my first view of the main page.
I personally like and voted for the logo that is similiar to Washington’s because it is interesting, modern and it stands out and think we should use it.
As for what to do with the home page I am not sure. Maybe add various pictures of WI at the top, around the sides or even in the middle and have them change every few weeks? But what ever it is it needs to make the page stand out and look interesting and professional.
Since the WGA is spending money to have the logo tweeked or a totally different one I think th WGA should look into haveing it copyrighted so we don’t have problems with others using it or something similiar.
Here is a picture of the coin and discussion from the gc forums. Hope that helps. http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=201098&st=0&p=3594405
On a side note I have 317 coins out and approximatly one third of them are missing. 28 of them disapeared from the first caches they were put in and have no miles on them.
I have one geocoin that has 26,278 miles on it and has been to south africa, australia and is now in the united kingdom and I have eight other coins that have between 10,000 and 21,000 miles and a whole bunch more that are pushing the 10,000 mile mark.
Click on the options button when the macro starts. On it you should have use shaded bars checked and on the shaded bar image source you should have remote checked. If that doesn’t solve it I am not sure what the problem would be.
Run the macro. After it is done go to your edit profile page. Left click in the area you for profile details. Then press crtl and V at the same time.
