Well it appears you got your wish hogrod; we have plenty of the heavy stuff now.

Will you be holding an event so we can have a snowball fight? We can hide caches inside the snowballs (micro’s of course) and we can hunt in a 30 ft radius (acceptable accuracy of caches).

Opinions are great, however, when you start attacking a person individually for their opinion that is where these forums go too far.

A debate is challenging a person, but when in that debate a person attacks another as a defense rather than rationalize it, that is no longer a debate.

Heated conversations are great: stating opinion, supporting evidence, etc. That is called critical thinking. It is when a person states “just because,” “that is the way it should be,” or starts making accusations about a person without having hard facts, supporting evidence, etc., well that isn’t thinking critically.

I’m all for someone challenging me on my position becuase that causes me to apply critical thinking, seeing it from another side, and then, possibly, changing my position.

I was taught to agree to disagree. That, however, doesn’t mean to accept being attacked personally, falsly accused of things, and my personality spoken about negativly. We all make mistakes, the question is do we learn from them, dwell on them, or move on!?

Check with PurpleArtichoke or Russell_53040. I know they both use older palm pilots. Russell got his for $30 (ebay I think) and it is an older one.

    Talk about creative! lol
Thanks for providing me a great laugh, an opportunity to roll my eyes, and to reflect on this “wonderful” invention called a computer that has taken us away from our families (even when they are in the next room!).

Where I can see the benefit for traveling parents, nothing can really replace a real hug…

I thought the same thing Ron, Frankenstein, when I first saw the picture. It’d be a funny looking Elvis.

My geo-dad named me my original handle “investigator0711.” Well actually he gave me the investigator part and since it was taken I added my birthday. Then, after a month of caching and enjoyment of blazing new trails by bushwhacking, I changed it to Bushwhacking Queen (after someone called me it first).

As for my nicknames BQ, Queenie, and B. Queen: Uncle_Fun first called me BQ outloud at his event; Energysaver first called me Queenie; and B. Queen was a combination of hand cramping when writing it and lack of space on logs.

Way to light up the trails and hit 400! Best wishes and enjoyment to the next milestone!

    Thanks everyone for your kudos!

I have really enjoyed this hobby and the many people I have met. It provides me an opportunity for goal setting and challenge where if I don’t make those goals it is okay and if I do make them is a supurb feeling.

As I get older it is nice to have something that can challenge me physically, mentally, and, yes, emotionally at times.

Thanks again — stay positive — and keep caching!!

Have you said hi and smiled to a complete stranger lately? Brighten their day by passing on a smile.

Guess SOM-Wisconsin can now be considered a “moving” cache. Find it, log it, and post the coordinates so the next finder can do the same.
