Congrats! Keep on hoppin’ down the bunny trail towards the next milestone!
I concur! Easy to look at, easy to find, places the area for new cachers easily on top for them to get introduced to the page.
I heard there are a lot in Vegas. I’ll be there soon and I am going to take a stab at it, however, the person I am going with said I can’t cache. Hm, what they don’t wont know will benefit me.
The nice thing about virtuals is that I can take people places and they don’t have to walk in the woods, get scrapes, climb trees, etc. They can be part of my hobby, learn something, and can do it dressed in high heels and a skirt (or a suit in a guys case) all at the same time.
Great job reaching 2,500! Congratulations on your milestone and may the next one come just as quickly!!
DianeWTG team! You’ll be at 6,000 before you know it!

Thanks for the hints on some of your caches.
Congratulation! I was watching yesterday afternoon and saw you had stopped at 999. I knew it was just a matter of time and you’d break the 1k mark.
Congrats on your milestone and happy hunting to the next!
Way to go Renee! Your dedication to this hobby is shown by your hides, your events, the way you hang tough, slam pain killers, and keep moving your way through the brush.
B.Q.Thanks everyone that participatd in posting. This is an energy-filled thread and any new cacher that reads it I think will say, “I got to get me some of that!”
For those of you that still have not posted, should you feel ready to share, please do so.

I want to extend my gratitude too: Thank you veterans for protecting our freedom!

I have one response to this: Pepper spray! Professor gave it to me (and the other GDO team members) as a gift. I never cache without it.
Please pencil me in as well. Someone has to be there to silence Russell and his “Go Garmin” routine.
I like caching alone at times because it provides me an opportunity for reflection and meditation. It always amazes me that I tend to forget all the things that are troubling me. It supports the book title: Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff (and it is all small stuff!)
I like caching in a group at times because it puts me to the test. I an known as our navigator and strategizer for the group that I cache with. The “team” is relying on me to get them where we need to be and the most efficient way. It tests my abilities but also gives me a pat on the back when I hear, “great job B.Q.” Though I hear it at work, sometimes we don’t hear it enough. I guess it is one way that I can get an ataboy.
Major Brat, I like your referral to sailor language. I can remember one cache in Illinois that I just let it rip! It was our 5th attempt at this cache and when I found it….well let’s just say it is a great thing that it was late, dark, and no kids around! I was totally out of character! (then again I remember that cache well!)
Bottome line though, as long as I’m caching I’m happy. Ever hear: If mama ain’t happy nobody is happy!

FuFu you summed it up: love. There is so much love in these posts I can bust!
I have learned a lot about the cachers who have posted and I challenge you, you know who you are: the ones reading and not posting, to tell us why you like to cache or what it brings to your life.
This thread has turned out exactly how I had hoped. We are getting to know one another and our bonds are growing even stronger. Why? Because we realize that regardless of how different we are, we are truly the same in some aspects. We have a bond: geocaching.
Keep the positive energy flowing and please share what geocaching means to you or what it brings to your life, and build our “family” even stronger.

I use Plucker and it is free. With plucker you can also “pluck” the news, say CNN.com, and download to your palm if you want to read the news while on a trip. It’s great if you are traveling and stuck on a plane, train, or automobile and want something to read (if not reading up on caches).
I have not experienced cachmate but I believe it is very similar to plucker. If you have bluetooth capabilities I think cachmate is better (i.e. you can post from the field?).
