You can’t exactly see it, but there’s a GPSr on the handlebar.
(taken at Wildcat Mountain WGA 2007 Picnic)
We are also typically looking for donations of bottled water & charcoal for the grills for Saturday Lunch. Any assistance would be appreciated.

But I must have missed something, because it shows only 1 Saturday Cacher, but there are two of us. Are under 12’s not being counted?
I took a quick look at your registration info, and you are indeed signed up as 1 Saturday Cacher and one “Under 12”.
Everything looks to be in order. See you there!
Hmmmmm…
Not normally something we would do….
but……
Have her send me an e-mail with her order information, and to whom I should deliver the shirt to and there shouldn’t be a problem.
She can e-mail me at: [email protected]
Come to the campout, we will be putting some back on sale there.
This is usually one of the better-priced places.
They also have a good return policy
You may also want to pick one of these up for it right away: 2GB Micro SD Card

Is the big “g” logo the new logo/winner as well, or is this just for the shirt? Just curious.
Nope, not yet…. The “g” logo is still just another entrant in the logo contest.

if I order but cannot make the campout, how can I get my merchandise?
Good question.
We don’t plan on shipping anybody any of the shirts. If you can, make arrangements with somebody in your area to pick it up for you. If not, we would hold onto the shirts until you could make further arrangements, even if it means bringing them to the picnic in the fall.
The campout committee and the BOD have voted and….
We Have A Winner!!!!!
Congratulations to Jacey7487 for submitting the winning design! For her efforts she will get a complimentary WGA 2008 Geo-Campout T-Shirt.
This is more-or-less what the finished product is going to look like:
Here is a little bit better idea of the actual T-shirt color:

The T-shirt color chosen is called “Sand”.I’m guessing this will work.
I just took a quick look at who has signed up for the campout vs. who has paid….
There are a TON of people who have signed up for the group camp but have not gone over to the WGA store to pay.
You can go here and pay for your camping fees, $8/night.
We accept Pay-Pal, credit cards (through Pay-Pal) and personal checks.
All designs that were submitted before midnight on Sunday night are now being voted on by the campout committee and the BOD. We should have a winner (and announcement) by this Friday.

Never saw dogs this friendly… what kind are they?
Photoshopped. 🙄
Bump!
Only a short time left to submit your ideas!
I started my geo-life with a Garmin GPSMap 12, with a whopping 1.4 mB of internal ram and no capability to upgrade. This unit is still by far the most comfortable to hold and geocache with (narrow and a little long).
A guy at work then sold me his Garmin eMap, w/software & cables for $100. This unit had an *amazing* 8mB of internal memory. This unit is by far the most svelte unit I own. I made a special handlebar mount and it use it all the time on my bicycle.
My wife (Mrs. Tie) then purchased for me a Garmin 76cs and the auto-routing software to go with it. This unit is by far the most clunky and hard to hold that I own. The buttons are also the most difficult to use of any that I own. It does auto-route well though.
I then picked up the best possible (at the time) unit for geocaching, a Garmin 60csx. This unit has the best reception of any that I own in demanding situations. It does a pretty good job at auto-routing, and I upgraded the memory to 2 GB, so I have the entire US and Canada loaded into it. It is OK to hold onto for long periods, but it is still a bit wide to fit completely comfortably in my hand.
The only unit I have had problems with is the 76cs. I originally used that on on the handlebar of my bicycle. But, hit a small bump and the stupid thing would shut down. People on these boards have gushed over Garmin customer service. When I called them to complain that my expensive, super-deluxe GPS would blink out when I hit a bump, all they would do is recommend that I jam some Styrofoam behind the battery contacts. Sheesh.
