Quick update:
I’ve found a good place to hold this class… a meeting room at our local public library. The room holds up to 100 people, but probably more like 50 comfortably. I was working on my presentation when I decided to check for updates to Plucker / Spinner. Both had been updated, and my setup / screen shots were now out of date. I am now in the process of updating my presentation to the current version of these softwares. It’s looking like a date near the end of February, probably an evening, but I may need to hold it on a sat. or sun. pending room availability.Looking Good!
Thanks for all of the input so far. Right now I’m developing a course outline and a presentation to go along with it. It’s looking right now like we will cover: Setting up pocket queries, setting up, configuring & using GPX Spinner, configuring and using Plucker, and using Easy GPS. I also plan on lighly touching on Palm PDA software, and using Plucker on the PDA. I still have not looked into a venue yet, but I will soon.
When I place a cache in a Waukesha Cty. Park, I PLAN the cache around having parking co-ords that do NOT require an admittance fee. (Glow In The Dark & Glow In The Dark 2)
Metro-Guide maps are quite large. About 8Mb each. I would be happy to help, but I am in the Milwaukee area. Contact me through Geocaching.com, my full user name is Should’ve Bought Him The Tie.
I copied the entire CD onto a folder on the hard disk (doesn’t really matter which one)then just ran the installation program from that folder. It works great (and it’s easy).
Sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers go out to you.

Of everyplace I have been, I would say that the “stealth secret boat launch” on the north end of Tichigan was one I would have never found (or revisited) if it wasn’t for Geocaching.
Closed the deal tonight with Sbukosky. Everything works great! Thanks!
It looks like even though this web page was hacked, it would appear that very little (if any) content was lost. This is a testament to the folks who back this page up. Thank you very much for all of your efforts.
Steve,
I sent you an E-mail via Geocaching.com regards to this and didn’t hear back. Do you still have all “yahoo.com” addresses blocked?
What I found with a tweezers was that I could not feel how hard I was squeezing the tick. I feared that I would make it explode before I could pull it all the way off. The thread method worked very well, as all of the force that was applied was exactly in the correct direction.
How about $17.50? If you know for sure that you can load some maps into the card, and others into another card, and switch them out mid-stream, I’ll pony up the $20.
An extra one of these would be OK to have. I’ll give you $15 for it (if you want).
