    Thanks for the help!!

Will give it a try. I did get satellites to pick up after leaving it on the dashboard for an hour, but when I shut it off and turned it back on, it never did pick up any after 10 minutes or so. I think it has ISSUES!!

I’d have to agree with the others. Many people think the EC’s are too much hassle to do, since they have to DO more than just find a container. Oh well…I say it’s a cachers loss if they don’t do them. We have learned so many kewl things! 😀

    Jen,

If it is part of the ice age trail, maybe the people Renee is working with can help out with that, even though it is in the park. I know it won’t help with getting it up and running before the Picnic, but maybe a thought.

Hey T&B!! You guys gotta slow down anyway. LOL 😉

    Hey LB7!!

Sounds like geoaware is bored. LOL some of it might be steming from the Geology Society itself. I have no problem with the uniformity. I have been writing it that way anyway! 🙂

    in reply to: WSQ???????? #1894844

Furfool is correct!! It does stand for Wisconsin Spirit Quest.

WSQ is used to designate caches pertaining to, in or near cemeteries or even burial grounds. It’s nice to have the WSQ tag, so that it is obvious WHERE you will be going. Some cachers feel these types of hides are not appropriate, so knowing ahead of time makes it nice.

We ALWAYS have respect for these places and caches are NEVER ON or touching actual graves or headstones.

I usually pack a cooler full of fresh veggies and fruits and other snacks. We are Trudy camping also and will grab the breakfast offered at the hotel. I am rather limited not that I have gone almost 100% Organic, but there is always the grocery store! Nothing at this event that even resembles anything I can eat and even the Leinies is out of the diet for a couple months 😥

That’s pretty amazing. I would love a chance to see that. I would have to load up with like 50 flashlights and about 100 lbs of batteries. LOL I have visited a number of caves and caverns and HATE it when they shut the lites off to prove it’s pretty darn dark down there.

We are looking at doing the Machinaw area. Have EC’s loaded. Congrats on the adventure. We were jealous that you hit the area before us!! 😉

Was great to see ya Jeff. Been a long time…..actually the final days of “The Gauntlet” was the last time. Funny thing was Digital Dan BQ & I had your name and one of your awesome caches come up in conversation just the day before the event. Glad to see you back out on the trails!!
