To address the repeat feature issue…..
Repeats are not a bad thing but to keep things fresh I hope differing information can be written to keep people learning new things and to keep travelers traveling.
I agree with you whole heartedly on that. Keeping it fresh is the key. Having interesting and different facts about each similar one without grabbing for straws though.
An alternative to the wording on the back. All the things I just LOVE about geocaching!!

I like that idea as well.
Is it weird that I could read what it said, without looking at a decoder? Is that some kind of sickness?
zuma
Yup… your got sumthin’ zuma!! LOL I know there are others who can read it without the decoder. I, for one, am NOT one of them LOL
Hopefully they don’t have an issue! Since it IS a joint effort with the Geology Society, maybe they are kewl with it. I think with the educational aspect of it, things should be ok.
I know that may of the locationless and virutals were Historical and Educational. As long as Earthcaches stay within the standards they put forth, things should go well.
I wonder if geoaware might not start putting some stipulations on the number of certain types of Earthcaches in a state, etc.
Way to go you guys!! No wonders you didn’t answer the phone when we called oyu from our Phone-a-Friends list. LOL
You guys are ON FIRE!!! Awesome job!

Welcome to the club!
Way to go Dude!! You made it! congrats!
I did a front and back design. I figured with having only one color (In black or White…..or Gold…..you know Packer colors LOL) that maybe it would be feasible to do a 2 sided shirt. This is my first time trying to get graphics online, so I hope you can see it. I tried to resize the pic but it got too blurry
Above the tent is a compass rose with no N,S,E or W, so it kinda looks like the sun and to the right of the tree is a hiker with his walking stick, leaving only footprints behind ๐ Decypher the back ๐ ๐

Is there by chance a map or a link to one, of the IAT that we can post here, with the locations spoken of shown on it??? Just wondering. Not originally being from this state and having lived primarily in the N.E.W. area, I am not familiar with a lot of the areas.
Thanks!
Sounds like a great idea. The key thing with ALL earthcaches is that they should be written in the simplest of terms so people of most any age can understand them. The high level stuff can always be added on at the bottom or a link to elsewhere. when talking with “Geoaware” (the 1st…now there’s two), he was the one who mentioned making it as simple, yet informative as possible.
Finding local history along with it is always a kewl idea. I am not from this state and have lived here only 10 years, and still don’t know all there is to know about the ancient and not so ancient history of the state. One of the Earthcaches I am working on has links to some kewl and fun stuff for kids to do and learn.
Waaahoo.. Welcome back! Bet it feels good to be getting out there again!

How about I share the Ice Age Trail sites with you first .. see if there are any you want to develop before the others jump in?
